I said nothing about the 'current' MWC deal. It expires at the same time the 'current' PAC deal expires.

I'm saying they'll be getting G5 money when the new contracts are done.

I assumed when you said they weren't going to make more than the MWC, you meant currently because that's all we have to go on. With that being said this new P12 deal will still get more than the new MWC deal when both renegotiate IMO

1000% we will make more than the MWC, we do currently. The only reason I know this is because this expansion is being directed by networks/Amazon, Google or Apple, not us. The PAC 2 worked hard to get the MWC to get a scheduling agreement, which we offered a huge penalty if we poach any of their teams as that was not the intention. Seriously if that was the intent why would we have basically given away $50 plus million dollars? We don’t have huge donors that will just eat $50 million.

Both schools were in negotiations to reup that schedule then out of nowhere we walked away from the table. We know we arent USC so someone is backing us to where we grew a big set of balls to tell the MWC to fuck off when we don’t have a football schedule for next season.

Allegedly $5 million for each school with an option for next season. Which is fine with the money left over from the departing members, but it’s why I don’t think WSU and OSU are doing this without a network/streaming service or a VC backing the move. Makes zero sense to spend the “war chest” for $10 million a year

But honestly I think it will be more MWC schools with the goal of Gonzaga, St Mary’s and some other baseball schools, we just did these 4 to make a “statement” cause the matchups this weekend IMO.

Let's simplify the argument because it's silly:

1) Oregon State and Washington State are in a better position than they were last week when the PAC only had 2 members.

2) Oregon State and Washington are in a significant worse position than they were when the PAC 12 had 12 members.

Both of those statements are undeniably true IMO.

You are getting paid for every home game you imbecile. You have admitted as much a few posts ago. You also have a large war chest (you admitted this too) that's paying the athletic department bills. So no it's not .1> 0. The athletic dept are not taking year or two off from paying bills. But not to the point of CalStan being in a conference with Atlantic in the name or USC/UCLA being in one with schools in New Jersey and Maryland.
