And now, the first of many (perhaps a couple of thousand) lawsuits were filed vs Weiss and Michigan - a UM soccer player and a UM gymnast claim that Weiss had intimate pictures from his hacking scheme.
The lawsuit came one day after Matt Weiss was charged with stealing intimate photographs and videos of athletes.

"The lawsuit alleges that the two women, one who was a gymnast in 2017 and 2018 and one who was a soccer player from 2017 to 2023, were among Weiss's thousands of victims. The University of Michigan and its Board of Regents failed to supervise and monitor Weiss, which led to women having their privacy invaded, according to the lawsuit."
This is going to end up being very expensive for UM.
Word to the wise: Nothing you have is private. If you don't want others and/or the world to see it, best not to snap the picture.
