EPL 2020/2021

I like Aston Villa. From near relagation for fighting for a Europe spot. More misery for Arteta. Is Aubameyang becoming the drama queen he was at Dortmund? Calf injury followed by personal matters? Did the pay him what $60 mil for this? His form and lack of availability is not what you want from your captain when your team is fighting for a spot in Europe. You need Europe spots for finances especially in Covid era. Mikel Arteta must make choice between Pepe and Aubameyang for Arsenal

There is usually very little sports going on when the EPL plays. There is zero reason to hide this stuff on Peacock.

Attack isn’t there, they stop and start.

Allison made a couple dumb mistakes. Just not LFC’s day.

We are down 13 now so we need City to have 4 more losses (not happening) and a tie and LFC have to win out (hahahahaha). LFC is out. Have to try and stay in the top 4.

Fucking Klopp better not make anymore excuses and just fix this attacking mess.

Next up is Saturday morning at the KP.

Right now City probably best team in the world. Let's see if they can do it in Champions League. As a German I really like Gundogan's form right now minus that penalty kick. Can't really begrudge Liverpool. Won EPL last year, and UCL year before. Still in UCL and just make it next year again now.

No argument, City is absolutely the best team in the world right now and they are rolling, Ulky is one of their best players and they have a ton of studs.

Its just very annoying as an LFC fan. It’s not the defense ethier. This is the first time since October they have given up more then a goal in league play. We’ve given up more then a goal 4 times all season in the EPL. But this offense is taking a shit finishing. 8 goals we scored since 6 days before Christmas. (A 7-0 win over palace) And 6 of those 8 goals came in 2 games, last week. Considering who it was against, it’s pathetic. Klopp needs to fix this instead of mistakes.

Not sure what I’m more surprised about, Liverpool’s shocking form, or that my Hammers are one point out of a Champions League spot.

You guys keep taking a point or 3 you’ll get there and honestly you deserve it. I would have no qualms if you guys and Leicester finish top 4. You both deserve it and so do your head coaches. Both are class acts.

LFC offensive attack is pitiful, they need to wake up.

has anyone double checked with Allison's bookie? Those blunders in the 2nd half were real shockers.

Even last season, there were a number of games you guys were looking poor vs bottom tier clubs. Difference b/t this season and last (aside from the obvious injuries) is that you were able to get those last min goals and secure 3 points almost every time you needed them last season. It was like a LFC cheat code. This season, that luck has returned to a more normal range.

It is what it is. No shame in top 4 and focusing on your champions league run this year.

Not sure a top 4 finish is realistic. Still a couple teams with games in hand and very close in points. But you are right, that late game luck LFC got last year and more so in 2018/2019 has run out.

Need 3 points now.

Seems like the Van Dyke injury has wrecked them. Such a key player. Henderson now playing the back. Wasn't he at midfield before where he really thrived last season. The whole chemistry and confidence is gone. I was looking at the transfer values like Salah and Mane. 130 mil or something...for what now. I think Allison needs to take a week off.

Honestly their midfield has been horrendous at free flowing attack. Henderson needs to go back there especially with what the got in the transfer window. Also when Jota gets back healthy, I think he needs to be given a chance up top.

Save today and last Sunday the defense hasn’t been awful. From mid October to last Sunday they hadn’t given up more than one goal in league play a game. But this attack has been awful with finishing.

Salah may still have some value close to 130, Mane really doesn’t right now.

Not a huge fan of Adrian but if Allison needs a break then absolutely. After Everton the schedule lightens a bit the next few weeks.

It goes in spurts. It’s not long ago De Gea was thought to be and now there are people saying Henderson should be given the starting nod.

Been doing that shit for years. I remember when two Popes died in a month and they cut Sunday NFL regular season games....twice for funerals back 1978. Back then no alternate solutions.
