Are you enjoying this holiday?
It's 34 degreesYeah I am. Sun is shining, windows open, not working, finished my errands, what's not to like?
Cut the pipe off, that the current bracket is attached to, and then drill through the pipe, and bolt it through, or around the wood beam, with u bolts, or through bolts. The one we're replacing looks kind of like this:
I'll have to get a bracket that can go on a wood beam, and a new glider that fits the bracket.
If you can't be handsome, you should at least be handyCut the pipe off, that the current bracket is attached to, and then drill through the pipe, and bolt it through, or around the wood beam, with u bolts, or through bolts.
I was at an inspection last week, and the buyers showed up, with the seller being gone for the day. One of the buyers started playing the piano that was there. I was blown away by her talent. She played a couple classical tunes, I don't know which ones, because I know nothing about them, but it was amazing. I have no "talent" to speak of, but I sure did appreciate it.If you can't be handsome, you should at least be handy
I'm more of a demo guy. Love tearing shit down or felling trees.I was at an inspection last week, and the buyers showed up, with the seller being gone for the day. Now, you need some shit put together, or rigged to work, or a face to scare some neighborhood kids, I'm your guy.
dropped a couple trees last month. it was funI'm more of a demo guy. Love tearing shit down or felling trees.
another rainy day here so not going to put down mulch this afternoon like I planned. Had to call off the child labor I had hired. Maybe try again Wednesday or Thursday, whichever I don't have tennis.
We actually have two metal frames. The neighbors gave us one that we used for a baby swing for both Ham and Tank. We bought the second when Ham was two or three, so she'd have the slide and glider and other things to play with. tWife had been keeping her eye out for a haulaway project on an old swingset, and here we are.We had a metal/plastic one with a glider, kids liked that. We also added a plastic bucket swing that we tied to the "T" of the clothesline pole when my daughter was a little shit.

Yeah, this should help de-clutter the yard some. We had the swingset and a small play house when Ham was little, now she'll have a bigger house and bigger swings, and it should last us through Tank growing up. Have a few pieces of wood on the roof that need to be replaced, and one of the beams in the inside is showing a bit of rot and should be replaced, but otherwise it seems like a good wash and a coat of stain should do the trick.very old school
nice upgrade
