congrats on the series. like I said after game 1, that game was an aberration. Your goalie has been a pain in colorado’s ass all year and he was a stud in the playoffs. Hopefully Sakic can find the final pieces to get a cup while these guys are still young.

Not a great start for the Bolts. I had an inkling that things wouldn't go their way yesterday when the Tampa forward was bitching about the first hit 8 seconds in. If they aren't prepared for lots of questionable hits, hooking, holding and interference they're gonna have a rough go of it.
 
Wow, who put this thread in a dumpster fire? We’ve been treated to some pretty good playoff hockey this year, after last season’s fake tournament thing. Tampa’s got a chance to legitimize their victory last time and Vegas, Montreal and the Isles all look strong.

As long as there’s no Mike Emrick broadcasting, it’s a net win for everyone.

Chill out- the Caps beat the Blue Jackets, Penguins and Lightning that year- all real teams.

Great work on pulling records for a team that actually went through a fair entry draft and didn’t extort picks or prospects (or whose league was mega-worried would fold if they didn’t win beaucoup games in their first few seasons). I would hope that when Seattle has the same draft rules next month, they take your favorite player, but I hear they already have a assistant emergency zamboni driver, so Reaves is probably safe.
