That’s not good at all. I had imagined cables being down off an intact tower.
I read there were 8 such high capacity lines running into the city and all 8 went down. Not sure if the other 7 are this bad….but it’s bad.
When we do lose power from a storm here the line men that come in from all over are literal hero’s to us. Last Hurricane I saw line trucks from KY or TN heading down the turnpike and….I won’t lie….something got in my eye.
That might sound totally first world spoiled to some, but this time of year and after a big wet storm the heat and humidity is doubly brutal.
