If Bama beats UGA in the SEC title game. Bama is getting that last spot over Oregon & Texas if that's what it comes down to.
In that scenario, it would only be over Texas.

Oregon better hope Bama loses.
If it comes down to 3 1 loss champs for the last spot. Bama Oregon & Texas. Bama is getting it if they beat UGA.
They'll use the 3 way battle instead of it just being head to head to justify rocketing Bama ahead of Texas
Texas really needs Oregon AND Bama to lose. They could very well put Bama in over Texas, which would set off a ton of crying but I would not be shocked if it happened. A SEC title game win over UGA would carry a ton of weight.

FSU losing would also do the trick.

I don’t think FSU is gonna lose. Even with a lame duck QB I think they’ll scrape by Florida and Louisville
Quality win, baby!Tennessee still ranked![]()
They can watch Oregon drop 2 games. The cognitive dissonance is astounding. The people who make the decision have Oregon as clearly better than Texas.
There's nothing Texas can do in the next two weeks to change that.
If my sarcasm about UTjr didn't come through:Quality win, baby!
PSU at 11? They have played absolutely no one and lost to the only 2 teams they played.
I’m not so sure. A Bama win and I could see Georgia still getting in.I'm not sure it would come down to that. Michigan or Ohio State is gonna have to lose. Georgia would have lost if Alabama finishes 12-1. They aren't putting in at large teams until they run out 1 loss champs (ACC excluded).
I have been wondering this. I know there are some other things that might need to happen. I would not discount this point. In one breath, talk up how great Georgia is and back to back champs. If Alabama beats them 26-23 in double overtime, the CFP gonna drop the Dawgs from #1 to out of the top 4?I’m not so sure. A Bama win and I could see Georgia still getting in.
Only way UGA gets in with a loss to Bama is FSU and Texas lose. It’s not impossible, but not very likely.I have been wondering this. I know there are some other things that might need to happen. Tennessee cause SEc and Utah out cause Pac-12I am ready. Are we not doing the Hooplanation rankings each week anymore? I know that we missed a week a couple of weeks ago and this past week. Just curious. As far as the CFP, I am predicting that Utah and Tennessee will still be ranked in the top 25.
Only if a bunch of the undefeated teams lose. UGA losing to Bama may get in as a 1 loss team, but only if you have FSU and Washington lose, might even need the B1G champ to lose to Iowa. I am going with the fact that we have to beat Bama to get in.I’m not so sure. A Bama win and I could see Georgia still getting in.
Beat us when you play us. Whine all you want, just beat us when you play us then talk.Quality losses gives you bonus points in the SEC
They will not put a 1 loss team in over any undefeated teams. We lose, we will need some help.I have been wondering this. I know there are some other things that might need to happen.
