2021 Recruiting Thread

how you feeling about taking Fromm over Justin Fields? UGA deserves a huge thank you, much like LSU owes us a thank you for Joe Burrow. I mean look at them now, lol.
It’s one of the many reasons I’ve listed for wanting Kirby gone. Waiting until this season was over to finally play JT Daniels is another. He’s simply not capable of making the right choice at QB. Even picking Dwan Mathis over Stetson Bennett to start the season is bad.

He wasn’t decent, he sucked, and like Fromm, he’ll never be a starter in the NFL.

My theory isn’t based on Eason. It’s just a fact that the players that come from high talent areas face better competition and have better teammates and coaches than those that come from low talent areas. You’re caught up on a single name drop.

I'm not hung up on Eason, he's just the only evidence you've provided for you theory and it isn't even sound evidence. There's a reason all the top tier schools are recruiting JTT and EE. I hate to break it to you, you don't know something that Saban, Day, Riley, etc. don't know about it.

Dean Mathis was a Buckeye commit until Fields have Ryan Day the thumbs up to transfer to Ohio State. Great trade off. Kirby Smart is a great recruiter and keeps his best players in state for the most part. Georgia is rich in football talent.

“I’ve been using Eason as the main basis of my argument, but I’m not hung up on a single name drop that I’m looking too much into” LOL.

I’m sure they’re good players, but I doubt they’d be 5 stars if they played in Florida

Ok. All the top coaches country think differently but I'm sure you've done extensive scouting of these kids from Seattle, right?

He’s a great recruiter, but he needs to take the Dabo Swinney CEO approach.

I said I’m sure they’re good players, there’s a lot more good players than there are 5 stars. I do have hard time believing that they’re generational talents though. That doesn’t mean they’re not good

Texass just had a 3* decommit. Damn thats rough.
Yep but our composite just went up !!
Bridges wasn’t a 5 star
Rivals ranked him.. he wasn't near that in composite however.. Rivals is the landthieves favorite recruiting ranking service.. Just look at Mike Farrells track record.

But fuck ou is about to go on a run.. Wheaton, Foster are silents if I'm not mistaken.. they have a chance with Byrd too but I think he may actually stick with SMU at the end.

A couple things that jump out at me:
- The irony of Mack Brown having a better class at UNC than UT has.
- LSU is currently at 93.03 ... seriously doubt they finish there. Man, the shit is going down in Red Stick.
- Imagine having the 8th best class in the country, and being 5th in your conference ... talking about you UF.
