2022 Season Thread

Another bullshit win about to be added to Austin Dillons resume

And now almost the entire field is wadded up

And it's raining like hell

And Austin Dillon managed to get through the carnage to take the lead...

Wow, so they all hit water on the track.

Day not over and they might race some more but as of now Dillon's in, Truex is in, Blaney is out.

Even if they do start it back, how many cars are gonna be left?

Harvick in 2nd in his rolling wreck, lol.

I'm pretty well over the super speedways. Talladega is a fun party, unless they can get back to the quality of the races from the early 00's, they're just gimmicks now. Don't wreck and you can win

It’s only 12:30. The rain is suppose to stop at about 5 local time….but will NASCAR wait that long? With it being the last race before playoffs they might

Dillon was a lap down, I guess he got the lucky dog in the wreck before.

Those Florida popups are gonna keep coming.

If Bubba was leading they'd call it right now.

Blaney being 5th in points and probably missing the playoffs is bullshit. Truex being 2nd and almost missing is bullshit. This whole system is MickeyMouse bullshit and is all an overreaction to 1 outlier season by Matt Kenseth.

Shows 17 cars on the lead lap still so they didn't have to be towed. No telling how many are drivable at speed though.

Would be a good time for our expert announcers to fill us in on that but they're busy with nonsense.

And that one outlier season saw Kenseth only have 3 finishes outside of the top 20 and a shit ton of top 5's.

The morons in charge don't even realize that it's far more likely for the championship to go to a driver with zero wins with this format than it was with a season long format. Ryan Newman damn near pulled it off the first year of the playoffs.

It did happen in the trucks with Matt Crafton.

It happened a couple times in the Busch Series when they were still under a season long format, but that was because Cup drivers weren't getting points for the Busch Series and were still running near full Busch Series schedules. Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick won damn near every race.

I think I heard him say there's 5-6 cars with no body damage and one of them is in the garage with a blown motor.

Of the top 10, the only ones I see that weren't involved in the crash are Dillon, Landon Cassill, Cody Ware, Austin Cindric, BJ McLeod, David Ragan and Noah Gragson.

Ware, Ragan and McLeod won't be able to keep up, Gragson is part of the ECR alliance and would probably help Dillon, same with Cassill.

I see Chastain got truex earlier.
Damn I would hate to be around that guy on a plate track. wouldnt want Logano behind me either.

they were saying (I just tuned in) it was raining before the wreck happened? Why was there no yellow thrown?
