2022 Season Thread

Cindric and Busch tied for last spot but sounds like Cindric has the tie breaker.

Good for Buescher. Probably a good enough driver to have a better ride

Can’t be mad about the 17 winning there. Also can’t be mad about the 18 being eliminated.

The tire/mechanical issues were a drag though.

This also ties the 2001 season with most winners in a single season at 19. And I am pretty sure we’ll see 20 before season’s end. Interesting, and odd, that no playoff drivers won in that round.

For starters, fuck nascar with their ridiculous point standings. No way to look back, just playoff shit. Convoluted.

But what did everyone think about Bubba continuing to run Sat. night? I see that Reddick finished ahead of Kyle in the standings so it wouldn't have mattered, but at the time it looked like it might have.
Hamlin: Oh we need that manufacturer's championship which we don't have a hoot in hell's chance of winning so keep that car on the track?
Gibbs: Fuck Busch he's not here anymore, keep that 45 on the track?

Toyota: Fuck Kyle Busch, he refused to work for nothing?

Or just business as usual.

The running for the manufacture’s title makes no since because the 45 already advanced with the win at Kansas and had no shot of getting anymore points to transfer to the next round.

I don’t get why Wallace ran, but they parked Gibbs like 2 laps before passing Busch. If you wanna screw him over, why not keep Gibbs going?

Goodyear needs a knot jerked in their ass after today's shitshow.

Just end this shit. How many blown tires from the leader alone do we need to see?

This is embarrassing for Goodyear and NASCAR

This is ridiculous, experienced drivers blowing tires from the lead.

Happy for another RCR win, but that might have been the worst NASCAR race of my lifetime

And yet another playoff race win by an ineligible title contender.

Goodyear naturally blames the teams for air pressure.

Hamlin's the biggest crybaby bitch in nascar

NASCAR with a 25 point penalty to the 24.

Spinning someone under caution, you had to figure that NASCAR had to do something about it, but if I'm being honest I'm surprised they actually did. It's the right move. I'm 100% for "boys have at it"....but wrecking folks under caution can't happen. Kyle Busch got parked for it years back when he did it to Hornaday. How they missed this DURING the race is laughable.

Ain't that the truth.

Goodyear needs to figure this shit out. I'm sick and tired of races being completely ruined by blown tires. It's stinking up the show.

Just read some interviews. Logano and Reddick said when they weren't flat they were square and vibrating the car real bad.

Byron did force Nascar's hand, but one thing is for sure, Hamlin won't be winning the title, and as far as I'm concerned, that's awesome. As long as he nor Logano win it, I'll be happy.
