2022 Season Thread

And the only driver with 3 top 10 finishes this season:

Aric Almirola.

TV ratings have been up significantly this year. Vegas race outdrew Duke-UNC

Team Strange will be running 8 races this year with an over the hill F1 never was. Will be car number 79. Don’t remember seeing a 79 in the field before

I didn’t like the pack racing at Atlanta. I feel like the track is too narrow to do it there

I don’t like pack racing in general, especially when tires are blowing without warning at an unprecedented rate

I don’t mind it at Talladega and Daytona. I liked Atlanta because it was the only “normal” racing track within driving distance(I guess now Nashville). So now I have no reason to go to Atlanta because I can just drive 20 minutes to Talladega and see the same thing.

Lmfao, great job Ross! Fuck AJ.

Always happy when ECR equipment wins.

Bowman really is a hack though.

Sticking his nose where it doesn't belong and effecting a great race for the win when he had no legit shot. Rick Hendrick only hires douchebags minus Ricky Rudd.

Your hatred of all things Hendrick is weird, man. So the 48 can't go for the win there, but I guarantee if it was Harvick in that position, you would've had a hard on.

He had no shot without wrecking both Chastain and Allmendinger, so why effect the race if he's not actually gonna take his only shot? I'd have less of an issue if he would have wrecked both of them and drove away to the win.

Harvick's days of contending for wins are over. He's hit the end of the career wall like Jimmie Johnson did. But I'd like to think had Harvick been in Bowman's position at Bowman's age, he would have finished the job.

Ricky Rudd is the only likeable driver Hendrick has ever had.

And this is also a double points paying race in my NASCAR league. I had Allmendinger, and I went from a sure fire top 2 to finish outside the top 30 on the last lap. It's happened a lot this year. Ryan Blaney last week, Bowman at Fontana, Stenhouse at Daytona, and even Harvick at Phoenix dropped from like 3rd to 6th.

The fuck? Bowman's move was the cleanest move of all 3 of those drivers there at the end.

Dude had no shot and effected the outcome. Hack

AJ literally ran Chastain off the race track (multiple times btw) as they went wide so Bowman dove in, filled the spot they vacated, and didn't yield. It's 100% what he was suppose to do and fair.

In that spot you either pull a Brian Vickers at Talladega or you stay out of it. Don’t effect the outcome and finish second

What happened to Richmond. Used to be one of the better tracks on the schedule, now it's one of the worst. When split pit strategies are the only thing worth paying attention to, might be time to overhaul the thing. Dover only has one race now, but somehow Richmond still gets two. And Denny Hamlin won, so easily the worst race of the season so far.
