GAME 2023 NFL Draft Thread

That’s a good sign, but allegedly not all of his coaches feel the same way. He obviously has red flags. He fell to Philly where he will be babysat by Dean and the other GA guys. If it all works out it’s a great pick. But it’s definitely a risk. I’m okay passing on him reading all of this. Philly has the best locker room for him to succeed.
The red flags are understandable with him being in another vehicle when the deadly crash happened and then him being out of shape, but the dude was a beast on the field, and I don’t think he would have saw as many goal line snaps on offense as he did if the coaches really hated him.

But Davis, Dean and Smith being there will keep him in line, to go with the veterans on the Eagles D. FWIW, Nolan Smith’s character has never come into question and he defended Carter from the get go

I definitely agree that his tape looks great.

that was graded on the same curve Jahmyr Gibbs was at Alabama...

Local radio reporting the Pats we’re gonna take Gibbs at 14 w Bama OC Bill O’Brian being the new OC in New England.

Pats traded back after Detroit took him.

Our GM has a good to great track record so far that’s earned him the benefit of the doubt. You gotta get your guy. Hope it works out.

I do love adding pick 34 tonight.

they'll probably reach for some Center they could have gotten 30 picks later.

You step on one of your Legos this morning or something?

nah, you're just fun to fuck with. Lions are trending in the right direction. I hope they win the North this year.

It’s tough to be optimistic Lions fan. Been fooled before. But I do like our 2 picks so far.

Eagles?

7 short hours away, boys.

She does have that look on her face like she knows she lost out on millions.
so they could make sure their guy went to the best possible situation in the entire NFL.

Jahmyr Gibbs is a tremendous talent, but he plays the wrong position to be selecting him in the 1st round. Unless you are drafting a bell cow, 3 down RB -- no team should be spending a top 20 pick on a RB and they haven't in the last 5 years.

Bijan is that bell cow, 3 down RB. Gibbs is not. Gibbs is exactly the type of RB we have already in Swift. When you add in Detroit spending 18 million on David Montgomery -- the Gibbs pick makes no sense, unless they plan to use him as a slot receiver instead of RB.
