2023 season thread

Wasn’t even a full spin and he kept it going. Zero reason for a caution

You just like him because he dropped the hard r on livestream, dummy.

My appreciation for Bubba Wallace went up tremendously when he took that douchebag out and then shoved him last year

Best moment of Bubba’s career IMO

Never said anything about liking anyone. Just said he's one of the 3 best wheel men driving today.......& if your IQ is above 75, you know it to be true.

As far as Bubba Wallace's best moments, I love watching him handle road courses.

I never said he wasn’t a great wheelman and if you had any sort of measurable IQ, you’d have picked that up immediately, dummy.

I never liked Jeff Gordon or Kyle Busch(until this year) either.

Could have been you, Reddick.

Any day RCR sees victory lane is a good day

Not a Busch fan, but I'm glad he can shove this in Gibbs face.

Reddick too. Going from a two car team that won 4 races last year to a two car team that won two races last year and pretending like it was an upgrade is hilarious

Jake Paul getting beat made up for Bowman not winning and Larson falling out early for the bets.

For the season long points deal I’m in, Bowman finishing 8th is still a big points day for me. Larson and Blaney were VERY popular picks this week. Of the 49 entrants, I counted 21 that picked those two along with a hand full of Reddicks, Byrons, a couple Almirolas and one Preece. Can only pick a driver twice per season, and wasting a Larson or Blaney pick hurts you down the line too.

lmao, to me your avy will always be the pic of Kyle Busch with the bloody nose
I mean, a 60 something year old Richard Childress beat up Busch over 10 years ago. Nobody has ever accused Busch of being a brawler. I guess they’ve all toned down in their old age. Never would have thought Busch would want to drive for RC and never would have thought RC would have even given him the opportunity.

But it’s about time really. RC hasn’t had a driver with personality since Harvick left

And a 47 year old Kevin Harvick on his retirement tour is still carrying SHR. That team is gonna be in real trouble when Harvick is gone. The 10 and 41 were running mid pack when they were in the wreck and Briscoe only got a top 20 because he was off the pace enough to be behind the crashes and gain positions through attrition.

Kyle Busch is the best driver to ever wheel a Richard Childress car.

Kinda sucks that they wait until the track is worn down enough to deliver decent races to do away with the 2 mile version of Fontana. Spent nearly two decades of it being the worst track on the schedule for my money, but they do away with it when the racing finally gets decent.

But I guess it’s to the point now where a repave would be needed to keep racing there, and the new surface would probably mean we’d be right back where we were with a terrible track.

But I like short tracks and I’m glad a new one will be on the future schedule. Kinda hope it’s not like Chicagoland and ends up just going away since it’s on valuable real estate. NASCAR’s history in SoCal goes back a long ways. Even when it was largely a regional series in the 70’s and 80’s, they still went to Riverside and briefly to Ontario

And Corey Lajoie has opened the season with back to back top 15 seasons. Ty Dillon has been slow as shit and still can’t keep the car under him. Say what you will about Austin, but Ty Dillon doesn’t even belong in the Busch Series. Could have given that ride to a Landon Cassill type and the results would be better

What’s kinda funny about Sunday is KB hated the Covid years with no practice, but the lack of practice is probably what got him the win. Kyle Larson’s electrical issues probably would have been fixed before the race had there been practice, and after they got it fixed, he had 3/10 of a second on the field with average lap time, and that’s with him rarely having clean air. Good thing he was 17 laps down and it didn’t matter

Apparently Busch is leaving SHR after Harvick retires at the end of the season to go to another team. SHR is gonna be such dog shit without Harvick

Tony doesn't give a shit it seems, he's more interested in his drag team now.
