McConkey was a 2*, AD Mitchell a 3*.

The only team to really ride WRs to the NC were LSU (2019), and then the Bama NC teams when they had that unreal run for about 5 years. tOSU and OU had the next bunch of great WRs and we didn't see the final results from them.

I really like what we do with very good to great WRs, not necessarily the most elite. WRs, like CBs, are weirdos, and the best of them tend to be very "all about me" players.

I think you are way better off with a deep group of really good pass catchers and RBs who can catch the ball out of the backfield.
