Brandon Belt had a higher wRC+ in 2023 than Vlad, Bo and everyone else on the Jays not named Bryce Harper. Why name him and single him out like this? He did his job and deserved/earned his salary.

Just a frustrating series. Starters looked pretty good against a deep Orioles lineup, but the bullpen and defense let them down big time. Offense was also very meh.

We'll see what the Sox do about SS/2B, because Story's done for the year... and he was pretty much the only hope of providing even adequate defense in the infield (except maybe Rafaela, but we'll see how much infield he plays versus outfield). They should aggressively pursue Adames from the Brewers.

Yep, Sox game 2 & 3 starters gave up a combined 1 run and 6 hits, once O's got to the bullpen it was a different game.

Bello was pitching well until Devers mishandled a ball with two outs (should have been an error) and then Duran lost track of a ball in the sun and he couldn't catch it. The inning should have been over twice, but it didn't and Cowser hit a double to bring them both home.

Sox couldn't get anything going against Burnes though. He's a damn good pitcher.

Well, it finally happened. The O's were swept for the first time since Adley Rutschman came to the show on May 21, 2022.

The Yankees Sox series use to be must watch as a Yankees fan. But it just seems like over the past few years it hasn’t had that same pazzaz as it used it. I hope it gets back to what it use to be where both teams are competitive

The Yankees and their fans are absolute trash. Complaining that the O's intentionally hit Judge, when the Yankees lead the league in hitting batters. So, now they have intentionally head hunted Henderson the last 2 nights and the crowd has cheered loudly both times. They also hit Cowser and the Yankees catcher decided to kick Cowser's bat. The O's have been hit 7 times while the O's have been hit 3 times in the 6 games they've played. Trash franchise and trash fans.
