Alec Baldwin killed crew member Halyna Hutchins on set of Rust

#AlecforPrison is trending on twitter, lmao

He's an asshole in real life so I guess it comes naturally.
I guess you're not truly an entitled actor or pro athlete until you kill someone via automobile crash or wonky prop gun. Alec was Triple-A of the assholes with his beating up of fans, cursing out his daughter, issuing slurs galore and marrying a fake Spaniard. Now he's finally graduated to the big leagues!

Shatner was a hack overrated douche actor (albeit with an atrocious singing 'career') before he watched his wife die at the bottom of a swimming pool before calling 911. Now he's been into outer space!!

Baldwin was an assistant producer of this film.

How is what you’re talking now morphed into “gun control?” @fordman84 asked when Hollywood is going to start CGI ing guns into movies instead of using blanks. That had fuck all to do with legislation banning or limiting the use of guns.

You make political assumptions and then yell “take it to the pf”. Quit projecting.
No, Fordman asked when will this conversation start. The question itself highlights how no one here was talking gun control.

At the deepest we had a few posts about interpretation of a Baldwin tweet revolving around gun control and 2A.

If anything there was snide (and accurate) political comment on how someone pro gun control killed someone with a gun.

The comment was not needed as no one was taking that stance….at least in this thread.

Starting to look more likely it wasn't an accident.

Still reads like it was an accident to me. Granted, an accident in that it was not deliberately planned.

But, it’s also sounding more like an accident with major culpability, and a knock on the careers of all involved.

Yeah… looks like Alec could be facing some charges anyway. The production was incredibly low budget and it affected safety standards- including firearms.

Yeah he wasn't just the lead actor but also a producer so he had skin in the game.

If you get beat up by a Baldwin, you should kill yourself. I can’t think of a more limp wristed family

He's done then.
It's completely his fault.

I hope they take all of his money in civil trials

Baldwin is the poster child for snobbery. I could see a "at least it was just a cinematographer" quote in the near future.

It also say for a well regulated milltia.. you can interpret that as the only rights with using guns is if there is ever a war in this country and we need to go assist the military.
Shall not be infringed.

Yes.
Shall not be infringed.
Yes. But my point was that it started with a well regulated militia. And after that is in regards to that first part. So you could technically say that was can be well armed hut only to be used during wartime on America soil to help the troops

and for what it’s worth. I’m against gun regulations.

Variety: "Rust Shooting Couldn't Have Occurred Without a Pull of the Trigger, FBI Concludes," Contrary to Alec Baldwin's Claims:

Variety said:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has concluded that the firearm that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust could not have fired "without a pull of the trigger while the working internal components were intact and functional."

Variety said:
The FBI's conclusion does not align with Baldwin's previous statements regarding the tragedy. The actor has maintained that he believes that he did not pull the trigger on the gun prior to it firing.

Variety said:
"The trigger wasn't pulled," Baldwin told ABC's George Stephanopoulos in an interview last December. "I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them. Never."
