April 8 Total Solar Eclipse thread

We seent it. Clouds didn't matter one whit. We only got 99% totality but still pretty cool.

Man...the clouds opened up just in time for us. We got to see the diamond ring and the 360 sunrise. I woudln't call it the most incredible thing I've seen or done, but it was a special event. I have never seen one before. And the next one in NY State is like 2075 so I doubt we will be around for that one.

Here in East Texas, we got the full eclipse experience. The totality lasted 3-4 minutes. It was great. The temp dropped by about 10 degrees, the street lights all came on, and you could literally hear roosters crowing. Glad I got to see it.
