B12 Thread

WVU with a win they needed to try and secure a 3 seed in the dance.

I hope Cunningham’s ok and can play Saturday. Regardless of if we would lose (probably). We need to be playing against the best players so we don’t get bounced in the first round in 2 weeks.
 
Conference teams know each other so well, the conference tournament may not show this.

But, if I'm a team from another conference, the two Big 12 teams I'd hate to play in the big dance are West Virginia and Oklahoma State (if Cunningham is at full speed).

Now, that statement of mine probably jinxed both of 'em.

I agree about those teams. Especailly WVU.

But I also think Baylor even if its a obvious choice will be a nightmare to play too. Good guards win march games. They are gonna throw a load of them at you. And their ability to collect misses is big too(too lazy to see if they are always good at it, but last couple games its been huge).

Gonna require a team with really good bigs to control the pace a bit.
 


Hope both can play in B12 tournament. Probably the right call to hold them out.

That's both their "leaders" IMO. Their only hope is that West Virginia takes the loss of those two as a reason to glide along. Don't see Huggins allowing such.
 
Well that makes todays game shittier. But I'd say a good call if you feel they are even remotely hurt.

You guys are all nuts on WVU. This is the worst defense Huggs has ever had. If we run into a team that can shoot 3’s and is on we are screwed. Especially if we continue to take breaks on the offensive end in the second half like we love to do. Depends on the draw but I could see this WVU team losing in the second game of the tourney.

Credit to Boynton were its due. He has a damn good team.

Im thinking this will be an OT loss here.

They continued to try and feed Culver when he wasn’t holding onto the ball And getting pressure. It’s pure stupidity.

So now we are a 4 seed likely in Gonzaga’s region. I hate my team sometimes.
 
Fucking KU gets ethier TCU or KST so basically they get to stroll into the semi’s.

I don't think that's correct. KU is the 2 seed which means they will most likely play whoever finishes 7th. Which will be a ranked team.

They play the winner of the 8/9 matchup which is K-State/TCU.

Baylor gets the 7/10 matchup, it isn’t highest seed remaining.
