Maybe they ain’t CFP caliber. But there are several instances where CFP teams had both defenses AND offenses that proved not CFP caliber. But the teams that didn’t get in were just as bad or worse. It still may happen in the 12 team. But I’m betting those 5-12 games are pretty close.
