Skinner’s ConstantThey can use what ever method they choose, to move the pieces as they see fit, to meet the outcome they want.
Illinois’ defense has good stats because of complimentary football. Their ball control offense eats up time so their defense isn’t on the field very long. Put that defense on a team with a quick strike offense and their defensive stats won’t look near as good.*Better ranked wins
Michigan's best wins are against #5 OSU and #8 PSU teams ranked by the committee
Georgia's best wins are against the #7 Tennessee #16 Oregon teams ranked by the committee
Michigan struggled with 8-4 Illinois (a team with one of the best defenses in the country) the same week Georgia struggled with 7-5 Kentucky
See above.This is a fact.
Illinois ranks
#2 in scoring defense
#8 in rushing defense
#5 in passing defense
#3 in total defense

Call me skeptical but a team that lets Drew Pyne throw for over 300 yards might not have a championship caliber defense.
The scoreboard certainly reflects this. Then again Pyne’s team isn’t playoff caliberI guess that's better than being the team that had Drew Pyne throw for 300 yards and still lost.
And no, USC's defense is not cfp caliber.
Maybe they ain’t CFP caliber. But there are several instances where CFP teams had both defenses AND offenses that proved not CFP caliber. But the teams that didn’t get in were just as bad or worse. It still may happen in the 12 team. But I’m betting those 5-12 games are pretty close.I guess that's better than being the team that had Drew Pyne throw for 300 yards and still lost.

Not looking like anyone in the playoffs is going to need to match their offense. It’s happening. Nobody in the playoff can match their offense.
We already saw in 2017 he can score on UGA.
Lol Michigan
TCU? GTFOH
You clearly don’t understand a reverse jinx…..Not looking like anyone in the playoffs is going to need to match their offense.
