Bundesliga 2023/2024

Honestly, he's probably on most Mt Rushmore's for football period, not just Bayern and Germany. A true legend.
Bayern versus Hoffenheim today as Bundesliga returns. Big memorial planned before game. Bayern took Eric Dier off Spurs to keep Kane company. I don't think he is playing. First test today with African and Asian players out. Kim is the big miss for Bayern. Due to injuries, he has started every game this season.

Dier was kind of a strange get for Bayern. He's a decent defender, massive bulk of a player so he is pretty good at asserting his physicality, strong in the air, etc.

Always liked the guy and apparently he's terrific in the dressing room. He just doesn't have much pace anymore and can't play the high line that Spurs now play. But, in the middle of a back 3 or even as a deep sitting defensive mid, he can do a decent job.

3-0

Kane only gets 1
Didn't get much service until after the red card and missed a couple golden opportunities. Hinrunde ended today except for Bayern makeup game. Kane's 22 goals ties Lewandowski all time Hinrunde goals. Thanks to Neuer this game could have ended different. Two brilliant saves.

I saw the Davies to Real story again today. I'd rather he stay put but I am able to see Spanish soccer on our channels we have.

Yeah. Real want him, but his play has leveled off some in past few years. Bayern not sure they want to give him the 13 million he is asking for. Not an outrageous sum imo, and there is no one near him in the organization with his skills.

So can Dier play right back? Mazraoui in Africa and injury prone, Kimmich wants to stay in the midfield, and Laimer ouch...constantly out of position. Just take a look at the 63 to 65 minute mark yesterday. No Neuer and the post and this game 3-1 Hoffenheim.

Depends on what you need your right back to do. He can play the right side of a back 3, but is probably better suited to playing the mid of a back 3 or a deep laying defensive mid between a back 2. He never played fullback for Spurs that I can recall, maybe in his very early days but not anytime reently.

Shazbat!

Unable to hang on give up winning goal in 91st minute. Pissed me right off.

Sucks. They are 2-0 with 5 players at AFCON including Boniface. Today was the day but still on 1/20/2024 they have yet to lose any game this season. Unreal the job Alonso doing. Kane picked the wrong year to get a trophy at Bayern. Looking like they won't win the Bundesliga unless they go undefeated. Need to beat Leverkusen also. One more game with them.

Win the make up game. They’re go win in their backyard. Seems like a simple plan.

But have to win today and so far very poor at halftime. 0-0 with no real chance. Werder getting the big opportunities. Müller on the bench and we he starts they are much better but dumbass Tuchel being Tuchel today. Again the midfield bad. Just too slow.

Losing now. Davies made a bad play.

Tuchel finally removing the trash Davies and Kimmich. Weisser totally owning Davies today. Coman garbage too.

65 game home scoring streak over, 32 game unbeaten streak versus Werder Bremen over. Tuchel out. Out of Pokal, out of Bundesliga, soon to be out of champions league. Time to move on for a lot of players in the attack and midfield. Enough is enough. Even when they win they look like shit most games.

On to Plan B
Plan B can't be implemented as long as Tuchel coaches this team, new management running the team, and Kimmich playing the midfield. There is no chance going forward with that setup.

1 year ago this week, Bayern had a 9 point lead in the Bundesliga. How far the mighty have fallen. Let's see since Tuchel took when Bayern was still involved in 3 trophies.

2022-2023:

Butchered the Pokal against Freiburg on a Musiala handball.
Never really showed up against Man City in UCL. Could be expected to lose, but at least show up.
Bottled the Bundesliga Title until Dortmund decided to out-bottle it themselves. Never underestimate Dortmund to do Bayern a favor.
Nearly out of Bundesliga Title now.

2023-2024:

Routed by Leipzig in Super Cup.
Lose to 3rd Division Sauerbruken in Pokal.
Shutout at home to Werder Bremen. No team had a longer losing streak to one other one than Bremen had.

Can you imagine what this team would be like without Harry Kane's 22 goals? Kane going to long to return to Spurs if this keeps up. How would you like to have Kimmich, Sane, Coman feeding you crosses game after game? Yikes!

I saw a video of him somewhere downplaying Bayern’s plight.

He comes across as a total boob.

They have a name now for his style of soccer: U-Ball. Pass it around in a U for 5 minutes until someone gives it away, or launches a cross or shot into the croud.

He also went full Mourinho yesterday throwing players under the bus. Not that they don't deserve it, but should be done to the press.
