THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Dallas Cowboys @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-9.5) | 8:20pm ET NBC

left so many points on the field...

they got potential.

Welp! That was close

Not a bad night for me in fantasy.

We won't run into a ton of OL and QB's like this, so that will help. But we are still lacking any push up front. This offseason its time to cut Cooper, sign Gallup for less, and get whomever is the best edge rusher on the FA market.
Coordinated offense and team defense are in trouble. Prescott played well and the WRs were there, making plays. But Elliott had 11 carries for 33 yds? Meanwhile, there were 4 turnovers, but the LBs gave up on coverage in the entire middle of the field. I don't know how many times Brady was pressured, but no sacks and he was 'forced' into only one stupid throw.

Frankly…you guys looked pretty damn good. Im not super happy to say it….but the examples were there. That was a really good team you went right down to the wire with.

Also, Goodwin didn’t have his arm fully extended. I know…put my team in that same position and I’m pissed. I think he “short arm shoved” on that, but the optics weren’t there for offensive PI, even on replay.

That was a damn good game to start the year with.

I remember a couple of errant forced throws, but you are right there was no pressure. I saw Jaylon being his usual spastic self running and jumping himself out of multiple plays so we have to address that contract issue. I liked what Parsons was able to show out there, hope he can get more time this year and then bulk up before next season so he isn't getting pushed around as much. I'm not worried about the running game, TPA has probably the best interior line Dallas will see all year. The old JG years we would have run Zeke 25 times for 40 yards and lost by 12 points, so I was glad to see us go to what the defense was giving us.

You are right, that call is never going to be made at that point in the game. If that is the first drive of the game it might get called just to set the tone, but it wasn't clear and obvious enough to merit a call at home at that stage in the game against a vet WR. It was a great throw and great catch, and I think the defense was as good as you could have on it. Godwin just made the play. The PI complaint was just for the BS crying by the Brady fan.

That one was the kind of throw every fan wants their QB to be able to make in that situation, but only a handful can. I’ve also seen such a throw cause many offensive PI calls as the receiver breaks back.

It was just well done on Goodwins part and, you’re right, not a point in the game where it gets called unless it’s obvious.

Well, for something like the 4th year running, the NFC East is the weakest division in the League. So being the ‘best of the worst’ means teams can figure it out in the first few, frustrating weeks, before winning the division with a 10-6, 9-7 or even lesser record.

The Dallas defense is a lot better than last season.....after just 1 game.

They set up short screens constantly with Fournette and Bernard, so it seems like they had a lot of run game. But they actually only had 52 yards rushing lol

So I had to bow out last night but I'm looking at all the headlines and Tom Brady carried the team to victory upon his mighty, ageless shoulders I see. Did he play defensive tackle, too?
Strong side LB, actually.

Also, word is he put on Succoups jersey and made the game winner. Some say it would have gone through at 77 yards.

You know the NFCE will be the weakest based on one game and some preseason? I think the NFCE is still anyones to take (except WAS who are screwed) but I think there will be worse at least one worst division this year. I think the AFCS and NFCS are both going to be runaways with one team stomping the rest who are all at or below 500.
