there is an app called Imgur you can upload the files there then post a link to em hereWell hell, most of my pics on my phone are too large to post. When I get back home I will show that pre filter design in better detail.
I have zero experience with a 3d printer. Have you used one? Aren't they expensive like a new car?or you can make all sorts of cool shit for odds and ends things around the house. proper pipe fittings some load hinges all sorts of cool shit only limited by size
ha you can get hobby level printers for cheap like 200 bucks and even if you're not good at CAD and such you can find tons and tons and tons of designs on the internet, pretty much full communities helping people out. i 3D printed a custom shroud for my AIO cooler to properly draw air across the entire rad rather than just where the fans butted up against the fins and i didnt even do any designing just found it online. its crazy how open the community is when it comes to makin your own stuffI have zero experience with a 3d printer. That's the internet at its best, yeah? yep making it so that you can make just about whatever you want in your own home (star trek'esque)That's the internet at its best, yeah? People helping others, the best!
If it doesn't draw at the end, I'd plug every other 1/8 in hole in the front half, then drill the back half holes out to 1/4No flow at the opposite end will be a fail.
Provided the flow is more than the holes can accommodate it will evenly draw across them all if the pipe is large enough to exceed spec for that.I'm ready to test out the under gravel filter to check for how it flows. I sort of expect to flow harder near the pump but I really have no clue how it might work. I drilled 1/8" holes every two inches all the way through the pipes for a total of aprox 250 holes.
If the flow is heavier at the pump end, as long as there is still some flow at the opposite end I will be okay with that. No flow at the opposite end will be a fail. The pump is rated at 700 gallons an hour and that sounds like a lot me so just maybe it will flow better than expected at the opposite end of the pump.
Here's some pics:

I was thinking about something like that, fingers crossed that I won't need to.If it doesn't draw at the end, I'd plug every other 1/8 in hole in the front half, then drill the back half holes out to 1/4
Just keep doing that until you get the flow you want
I like the way you put that! Hopeful! And we will be finding out soon, this morning.Provided the flow is more than the holes can accommodate
So instead of paper do you put sheets of plastic in it? Or plastic beads or something? And can make a piece of equipment just from a picture?yep making it so that you can make just about whatever you want in your own home (star trek'esque)
It takes filament spools of different types and colors of plastic the extruder head builds vertically in layers heating up and depositing just the right amount on horizontal layers and stacking essentiallySo instead of paper do you put sheets of plastic in it?
