I, for one, am thankful that tPapa is no longer the "best" option for a pizza around me.
Down in NC, it was kind of a pizza wasteland, and Papa John's was at least edible. We did order from Papa John's a while ago, just because tWife had a jonesing for it. Haven't had it since, don't miss it a bit.
Mod isn't bad.Domino's has came and went in this area. They might be trying to get into Wal-Marts now. Papa John's has came back for round 2 but not a big fan. We get the Hut but not a big fan of it either and we have Pizza King here that just doesn't agree with me. We now have a Little Ceasers again as the first one went out as it was in K-Mart that went out. It's not too bad but there could be better. Currently East of Chicago has been the best for chains in this area. I miss the local guy who bought the Domino's then Papa John's building and created a pizza & wings place called Papino's. It was amazing. None of them beat the bars on the southern end of Hwy49 trail of beer. However the one is closed due to a kitchen fire. Someone must not have been watching the deep fried pizzas!
Don't flatter yourself. I have like 10 minutes im trying to kill at work and figured what better to waste itI got the thread popping talking about food.
You all are welcome.

Pizza Hut was my jam back in the day, because of the book club thing where you could get a free pizza for reading however many books. And seriously.... Of all the chain pizza places, pizza hut is like a kiddie step up from a Hot and Ready
Domino's is on par with Papa John's now.Pizza Hut was my jam back in the day, because of the book club thing where you could get a free pizza for reading however many books.
Can't remember the last time I had a Little Caesar's, not even sure where there's one around me.
Chain joint rankings:
1) Papa John's
2) Pizza Hut
3- whatever) Don't care
Last) Domono's

There's a halfway decent regional chain here, but I've got three pretty good spots that I can walk to downtown, and a few others that are almost as close as the nearest chain joint.Domino's is on par with Papa John's now.
But if I go chain, it'll be a more regional chain - Donatos

pizza hut used to be a classy establishment with a salad bar and servers. RIP the book-it days. And seriously.... Of all the chain pizza places, pizza hut is like a kiddie step up from a Hot and Ready
There's a place that's "opening up" here that's supposed to be really good. I need to check out out. Wizard of Za. The guy used to just take orders on Instagram, and let you know when he was going to make your pizza. Wait-list was like a month longThere's a halfway decent regional chain here, but I've got three pretty good spots that I can walk to downtown, and a few others that are almost as close as the nearest chain joint.
My kid is pretty funny, though. She's convinced that Domino's is good because of all the commercials she sees for it on Food Network. And, I mean, it's pretty hard to screw up a pepperoni pizza.
