Harbaugh facing 4 game suspension

They simply approved of Michigan's self imposed portion. They then said any "final decision" is an "ongoing process".

If the "ongoing process" for the "final decision" were only about Harbaugh, then there would be no need for the word "including".

"Including" - i.e. As Well As
For the separate case that is harbaugh. The final decision, including further punishment for harbaugh, is ongoing. What do you not understand about this? The NCAA approved all punishments for the school. It's done with. There will be no further punishment to the school relating to this issue.

No. That's in fact not what it means. I'm not sure how you could even suggest otherwise. "The NCAA is accepting your punishment, but also not accepting your punishment" is actually fucking stupid and you're stupid for suggesting this is what that means.

This means Harbaugh didn't participate, Harbaugh is going to be punished separately and the Michigan/school aspect of this is done.

If the NCAA didn't accept the school's punishment, and was going to consider further punishment on top of that, they wouldn't fucking accept it genius.

They're accepting what Michigan imposed as a bare minimum.

It's no different than Michigan imposing a 3 game suspension for Harbaugh when the NCAA wanted 4.

Michigan imposed a 3 game suspension and Harbaugh served it. Was the issue closed?

NOPE!!! And here we are today.

pssst.... It's still not closed for the university

Michigan has self imposed a punishment in hopes the NCAA will be lenient when they decide to close.

Harbaugh no longer being there is an entirely separate issue to the NCAA closing the issue on the university.

Thus the word "including".

The committee's final decision -- including potential violations and penalties for Harbaugh -- is pending.

"The committee will not discuss further details in the case to protect the integrity of the ongoing process, as the committee's final decision — including potential violations and penalties for the former coach — is pending."

"Including" = As Well As

LOL

You keep saying it, but you don't know what it means. :facepalm:

"Including" = As Well As

The committees final decision on the universities self imposed penalties 'As Well As' a final decision on Harbaugh is pending.

"for harbaugh" not "for Michigan".

"for harbaugh" not "for Michigan".

If that were the case then they wouldn't have used the word "including".

Words have meaning.

"the ongoing process, as the committee's final decision — for the potential violations and penalties for the former coach — is pending."

See how different it reads without the word "including"?

I heard the NCAA was going to meet on rule changes and the addition of mics to the helmets. Did that happen or going to happen? Any official?
