Now there is a stat without backing if I've ever seen one.

Very few car drivers go out of their way to screw with bikers. Almost every biker goes out of their way to ignore street laws that they find inconvenient and then cry "sHaRe ThE rOaD!!!!" when someone gets within a quarter mile of them.

You keep riding your bike and following all the same laws that I do while in my car and there are no issues. Could it still mean you are hit by a car? Sure, just as it means I can be hit by a car while in one. Roads are dangerous.

Having jackasses that feel some laws don't apply to them because they "aren't a threat to cars" is why cyclists are almost universally hated on the roads.

if you've seen someone aggressively pass a biker or get as close as possible to them while passing, I'd say that is screwing with them.

I call bullshit. No one is pissed at a biker for no reason. If they are pissed it is because the biker did something, like blowing through a stop sign/light or lane splitting and getting back in front of them.

And yes a thread about the stupid shit bikers do is going to get stories and posts bashing and wishing ill intent on bikers that do stupid shit.
