You're very retarded. People had heard of Auburn too, but they hadn't had that level of success in ages, like recent michigan. They also cheated (paid Cam Newton), so you have another thing in common with them.

We have two national titles this century, one of only 5 programs that can say that. We have the highest winning percentage this century. We have the 3rd most NY6 wins (behind only Bama & Georgia), and we were tied for the most BCS wins when it ended. By far the most consecutive years being ranked in the AP poll with a current streak of 11 straight years of double digit wins (not including 2020 since we didn't play that many).

That kind of elite success. Obviously not the type of success you would know anything about.
You can cherry pick any stat you'd like. Doesn't change the fact you have 2 national titles in 50+ years.

You see -- the teams you mentioned -- Bama and Georgia. They are the elite programs right now. Bama may be on the way out with Saban leaving, but OSU isn't at their level. OSU recruits at their level, but they don't play at their level.

Full immunity?

Serious question.

How exactly does this work? What if the NCAA came down and banned him from coaching in NCAA sanctioned events? What's Michigan gonna do say "no you cant do that we promised him immunity!"? lol

Never mind.

Michigan fans were delusional. The writing was on the wall

I’m glad he won us the Natty before he left, and I’m happy he didn’t go to the Bears.

I’m really excited about the new MI HC, too.
he went out on top. Nothing more to achieve there

In the past, if I were to mention Michigan's successes in the past, and all I heard was that was the past it doesn't count. When we won a National Championship in 1997, I was told that Nebraska was "THE" real winner. Now we won the current Undisputed National Championship, and people are trying to tear it down. Our coach is moving on, but we are STILL CHAMPIONS!!!

Sad to see him go, but not exactly surprising. Delivered and there's an obvious replacement in the wings. I'll be pulling for him to succeed in LA. At least it's a franchise I like.

They are already making Warde Mauel the fall guy in this. Doesn't matter who scUMs AD was coulda been Jesus Christ himself, Harbaugh was going to the NFL once a team gave him a real offer.
I'll be rooting for the Chargers (but not over the Lions).

Yup. Best 3 sporting years of my life. Go Jim, fulfill your dreams. Good news is that things should stabilize now, there won’t be yearly questions about who the coach is and we have a solid foundation to continue the success.

probably my favorite championship team in my lifetime except maybe the 2004 Sox. hmmmm

2023 Michigan
2004 Red Sox
2017 Eagles
2018 Red Sox
2011 Bruins
2013 Red Sox
2007 Red Sox
1997 Michigan*

thought about flipping the Bruins and '18 Sox, but that Sox team was just flat out dominant.

even these 2021-22 Michigan teams will always have a special place in my heart.

So JJ to the chargers then?

I didn't cherry pick a thing, no matter if that upsets you. We've been elite for my entire adult life; we have 2 national titles in that timeframe and I'm in my 30s. It's been amazing and will obviously continue.

Bama under Saban in recent years started dipping obviously, but 2020 and earlier Saban was a dynasty. Georgia is elite but we showed we can obviously play with them. Odds seem good that we'll be seeing them again this year.

LOL your past successes are all pre-WW2. You won a "national championship" in 1997 because the AP is retarded, which they proved again during the BCS era when they tried hijacking the 03 championship. You won the current undisputed national championship while being embroiled in a massive cheating investigation in the weakest year of the CFP. It just is what it is.

Ohio State has pretty much consistently been a stable "elite" level program. Michigan not so much.

Obviously more titles would be nice, National titles are hard to win though. Not everyone can be Bama under Saban and win like every other year or some ridiculous shit.

@fordman84 can you make me a mod for this thread? I only need about 10 minutes so I can delete it and stop the incessant bitching and then you can have the powers back.

Thanks

These threads about either Michigan or Ohio St turn into page upon page of a broken record that keeps repeating itself.

I stop reading them.
