i wouldn't say that. it made me know napoleon was about 3 things, france, josephine, and i forget the last one, but they were the 2 of the 3. it did have some nice cinematography

streaming has come a long way, outside of giving in and doing the barbenheimer or whatever it was called (fuck it was me not wanting to work at 0800), i'm not sure how many of those i saw in the theater, actually, they might be the only two. Opps (short for oppenheimer) was very good. With Killers of the Flower Moon finally coming on apple, yeah, he could have cut that runtime down. At least he didn't have any shitty age regression shit with bobby d in that one, fuck was that an embarrassment.

but in the reverse. nice to look at, not much going on, though. the battle scenes were well done. i'd expect no less from Mr. Scott.

I listen to the podcast HDTGM, and they did the Pope's Exorcist and one comment they said that stuck with me is I forget who said it, but they thought the movie was going to be about the Pope getting possessed and needing an exorcism and that premise would have made for a movie 100x better. I tuned in just because seeing Russell zipping around on the vespa was hilarious.
 
Just watched Retribution with Liam Neeson last night with the Mrs. I liked it, kept me interested the entire time. Similar story to Speed just in a car not a bus.

8/10

The Mrs liked it as well which is a win/win because we hardly ever agree on movies/tv shows.
 
Vivarium Netflix

A couple wanting a new house gets hooked by a mysterious realtor that takes them to a vivarium suburb where every house looks the same and leaves them there never to leave.....
It has a Twilight Zone type of feeling to the movie.
