Lololol. Indeed
sad thing is I didn't even realize he was a nepo baby until he was already gone and someone told me he was Rich Gannon's son, I never put it together. That said, growing up around the game with professionals I'm sure has it's benefits in knowledge of the game and schematics. not that Jon picked them up.

Let’s see what the GM thinks and if he keeps Goff, let’s see how he does against a tougher schedule with some expectations.

I’ve got no problem with Goff and he’s in the right place for him. Coach is no BS hard nosed guy which is what Goff needs.

Obviously the moved paid off for us. Goff can Dilfer his way to the Super Bowl. He’s proven that
Didn’t Detroit end up with one of the toughest schedules last year? Based on opponents winning percentage at the end of the year? Might have been before they played Chicago that they were near the top, idk.

Campbell cost the team wins last year early on. Him staying away from in game decision making is something I’m hoping for. Great motivator though.

CJGJ is nice. Came off as a bit of a bitch when he did that blackballed tweet, but whatever. The copium is using the PFF grades that listed him as the 3rd best safety on the eagles behind Blankenship and Epps. Granted, Blankenship's first play replacing him he did intercept Rodgers, so maybe their grades aren't complete garbage...
I expect him to lead the team in fights.

Oh I was hoping someone would hire our DC Morris so we can get more picks. We need them!!

But yeah so tired of watching DBs off the ball 7 yards and we were down 10. :L That’s one thing I don’t get. Maybe it’s us playing to a 17 game season and tryna keep people from injuries. No idea

Obviously early they had a top 5 easiest schedule but then here are the ranking as of January 2023. Middle of the pack

the Watson deal was bad for a number of reasons, but I feel like fully guaranteed contracts are something the NFLPA is eventually going to push for. of all the sports with salary caps, i feel like football is the only one where players sign deals and then everyone is like, well let's see what the actual numbers are. so many fucking tricks and loopholes for GMs to use, it's annoying.

and i spell guarantee wrong every fucking time with a u instead of an a. i blame that fucking alligator on tmnt.

I like the conspiracy theory that the NFL owners really don’t want a player without an agent negotiating the biggest contract in NFL history. Makes sense.

Oh it got to a 3 point game from 38-21 at the end of the 3rd. No prevent was played!! Besides the fact that Goff only had 1 completion over 15 yards in the entire 4th.

LMAO I’m sure the eagles were terrified especially with Goff at the helm picking them apart with check downs.

Difficult to have a Goff “agenda” when you trade him and win the whole thing the next year. Thanks Jared!

And good for you for finally disowning the Browns!!

If You need to see the ring we got for trading Goff let me know.
So now they were playing prevent the entire 3rd quarter? Again, have you ever actually watched pro football?

What does having 1 completion over 15 yards have to do with anything? Also LOL at you getting that ring because you had Stafford. He wasn't exactly great himself that SB. Thankfully for you Burrow's high school-level OL couldn't keep him upright or you woulda lost by 20. Why they seem to want to have their franchise QB get ground into the dirt every game, I'll never know, but it sure helped the Rams.

SJ likes using beginning of the season schedule rankings because he needs to grasp at whatever he can to rip on Goff. It's like counting a college football preseason top 25 win as a ranked win in December when the team goes 6-6.

Just wow. Do you understand prevent? Prevent is trying to prevent big plays. Like over 15-20 yards. So the QB takes what the defense gives them aka underneath. Shorter passes lol

Do you need the eagles fan telling you one more time about how their base model was prevent?

How embarrassing for you

So does that mean that every QB playing Philly this year was just facing prevent defense the entire game? Because that means guys like Aaron Rodgers, Trevor Lawrence, Kyler Murray, and many others are even worse than Goff because he played even better against Philly than them.

Weird, you tried telling me twice that Detroit played a weak schedule last year and this year is gonna be much tougher. In fact, you didn't even acknowledge you were wrong until Bronco called you out. Talk about embarrassing.

My guy, relax. You are way overextending yourself.

Today is National Whiskey Day. I'm gonna go make a flank steak and potatoes and have some whiskey and then we can reconvene and really get the big guns (gifs) out.

Sounds like the Eagles fan here says yes.

Did all those other QBs throw pick 6s too? Lolol
