Michigan’s Sherone Moore to be named head coach

didn't he turn y'all down to stay at TN Tech?

Don't remember him being offered anything before but I don't have high hopes of taking a head coach as an RB coach. It was just wishful thinking

They only loss was the timing. All coaches are missed but obviously he didnt like not getting the extension like the others. They will as they always do, find another good coach.

Exactly.

RB coaches are usually regarded as the most easily expendable coaches, and Alford's standing with Ohio State clearly was not favorable. Our run game has underperformed in big spots of late, it's not false to say that. Nobody is sad about this. it's shitty timing but that's about it.

Michigan fans pretending like this is some incredible ground breaking hire is hilarious

yeah but how much of that was due to the playcalling?

So you're saying we plundered your good coach who was being held back and ruined by the High School coach that replaced Urban?
Seems like many seem to be overly concerned about our coach. I’ll judge him on his performance with a team going a complete overhaul. It’s going to be a fun season. I’m saying 15-0. REPEAT!!!!

The new twitter profile pic, the replies, all awesome.

Let's check in on Ohio State before the hire:

It is hilarious watching Michigan fans trying to spin the hiring of a guy who ran the running game they constantly blast for being charmain soft as some great hire.

Little brother needs to try to get a win without a lying or cheating scandal. He had no place to go up at THE so he moved on to a lesser for a chance to get a higher position later. Happens all the time.

That’s the best part. He took a lateral position and viewed the university of Michigan alone as a better career path. Lol.

This guy beat us for the majority of his time there.

The italicized “the” is the hardest italics that have ever gone (and apparently only shows if you view it on Twitter)

It's more of "we don't care either way". This isn't some big loss at all. He was near the top of expendable coaches we have.
Yes -- teams always keep an expendable coach on staff for 9 years. OAM fans have excuses for everything.

Your defense is charmin soft. Your running game hasn't been the same because of Ryan Day's play calling, which will be sorely missed by UM. Hiring someone to call plays on offense was the smartest move Ryan Day has made as coach.

Honestly, it might not be the best thing when a position coach is at a high level school that long. Alford was good enough to not get fired but not good enough that he was getting offered higher positions.
