More Michigan Cheating

Has arguing for 120 pages on a message board changed anything yet?

Lol them thinking Michigan is going to just sue everyone all willy nilly is hilarious.

My favorite is them talking about "SUING THE MEDIA AND MAKING THEM NAME THEY ANONYMOUS SOURCES!" good fucking luck with that.
I never said that. The media is free to report rumors. It's hilarious though that some are believing all those rumors.

I never said you did, go read the Michigan boards for that nonsense. Tons of talk about how Michigan is going to sue the shit out of the media and expose everyone. Pure delusion.

No they don't. And sign stealing is legal. If they believe Michigan got their signs, like they could have through legal means, they are free to change them and most teams have a process in place to quickly alter them. Or use a fucking wrist band. They're $20 on amazon.

B10 coaches, especially the most outspoken, have a clear reason (both competitively and financially) to try and harm Michigan here. If Michigan gets blocked from the B10 title game, for instance, OSU and Ryan day are basically locked into financial incentives worth millions collectively. Of course they're going to lean into this.
So if they believe MI is cheating, then they need to take time out of the practice week and spend that time on new signs and not practice. No there is no advantage to MI for that.

Every post get dumber.

This is a false narrative. Teams already do this.

You see. That’s reversed. Lots of teams what it to be true because it allows them to cope with prior losses and gives them (specifically Ohio state) and easier path moving forward. Which is why any leaked allegation is believed with certainty without any facts being presented. As a reminder, Michigan has not been accused of breaking any rules by the ncaa.
I don’t want it to be true. I’d rather have both our schools at the top of the nation battling it out. You guys winning two in a row brought a lot of juice back to The Game, not that it necessarily needed it, but it makes it that much more fun heading into this years matchup. It will make victory, whenever that may happen again, feel that much more satisfying.

If the cheating rumors are true though, it needs to be handled. And to me, it sounds like they are true but the NCAA and BigTen don’t want to fuck up TV ratings.

They'd absolutely sue for financial compensation and for a court to block the action until the NCAA investigation was complete.

If they go through with it they have a ton more info than me or you have and its reliable. Michigan wouldn't have a leg to stand on for any sort of civil action.

NCAA investigations take months and we don't know what actual information is had, or if the accusations leaked to the media are unsupported by much actual evidence (or how that evidence crosses over with NCAA rules). IE stallions bought tickets, and people were in those seats, but what evidence exists that a rule was broken (For example).

Given the fact that they're moving forward with Harbaugh's new contract, that would make me believe that MIchigan thinks they have a leg to stand on.

Them moving forward with his contract means nothing. If it comes out he cheated and they fire him that's for cause and the contract is void anyway.

It seems like something that is calling into question the integrity of the sport should be handled swiftly.

Either tell us UM did nothing wrong or explain what they have done wrong and give out a punishment.

Letting it hang in the air hurts both UM and their opponents, but I think it will wear on Michigan more (in big games and as the season goes on). It has to be impossible for the players and coaches to ignore all this noise.

There’s just been so much smoke it’s hard to imagine this is made up or a misunderstanding. And if it is false reporting, Michigan and Harbaugh ought to be pissed.

Not every team had enough time to change every sign. You are wrong again.
Why would you need to change all signs?

I'm going to break this down very simply for you,

1 finger means run
2 fingers means pass

If you know this and I add a layer

3 fingers means do the 2nd sign I use
4 fingers means use the 1st sign I use

end of the other team knowing your signs and very little additional information is needed to be remembered....And teams add these kind, or modify, these kind of layers all the time to specifically counter sign stealing.
