More Michigan Cheating

It's clearly a rule violation if the NCAA is bothering to investigate and michigan suspended the guy. Why suspend him for doing the very thing you hired him for if it wasn't a rule violation?

Again, impressive mental gymnastics. Overall though, it's gross that your newfound success on the field is now tied to this. The coincidences are pretty obvious.
No, it's clearly a rule violation if Michigan sent a coach or hired staffer to games to scout. The NCAA is investigating the claim that Michigan committed a violation and so far, the only claims have come from the media. There is no allegation from the NCAA. If Michigan didn't send a hired staffer to the games, as claimed, then this gets real muddy quick in terms of rule violations.

So, again, why would michigan suspend an employee for doing the very thing he was hired to do if it wasn't a violation? Why would Harbaugh claim to know nothing about all of this when it's an employee of his team?

You don’t seem to understand the concept of “agency.” Look it up and learn. Hired staff can’t set up rule violations, and then try to weasel out of them by saying it wasn’t us. It was someone that went instead of us.

This would be why he used his own cards to book this stuff. But obviously dude can't afford all this on his salary.

MnB predictably cannot keep his story straight here. On one hand, michigan was brilliant in finding a "loophole" to make themselves competitive again, but on the other Harbaugh didn't know about it so he can't be tied to any NCAA infractions committed by the guy who michigan suspended for supposedly doing the very job Harbaugh hired him to do, even though Harbaugh didn't know he was doing it.

Round and round we go.

There was no rule violation. A person can perfectly, legally, attend NCAA games and record them.

Again, it is not an NCAA violation to buy football tickets for someone else.

lmaaaaaaaaaao @ @MAIZEandBLUE09 thinking Michigan is going to make the NCAA "see the light" and change their rules "thats all that will come of this" :pound: :pound: :pound: :pound: :pound:
Like I said, the most that will come from this is the staffer might get fired. But the NCAA will almost certainly modify the rules in response to this.

You trying to boil it down to that is cute
This was a funny way of saying, "I can't name the actual rule broken but I want there to be one because I don't like what they did".

It's been said about a million times the rule broken.

No, it hasn't. I'll summarize again.

It isn't illegal to steal signs.

It isn't illegal for anyone affiliated with a university to buy tickets to other events

It isn't illegal for families friends or acquaintances of people affiliated with university staffers to go to those events.

And it isn't illegal for those people to film those events.

As long as Michigan did not send anyone hired by the University to addend these events, this is absolutely a grey area not outlined specifically in the NCAA rules. (you're also making a claim that rules were broken, yet no NCAA notice of allegations has been received).

Hahahahahahahahah oh the deflection. This is fun. I love the excuses and but but but look over there........
Deflection at what?

Oh, BTW, Ohio State admitted to changing all their signals before the Michigan game anyway. So you lost lost. It had nothing to do with this at all. Any idea you could use this to cope with your losses was eliminated by the anonymous OSU staffer who reported Michigan for non-NCAA violations.

You think you have this by the balls and you don't. It's borderline ridiculous at this point. It's a matter of time before they put Stallions himself at one of these games. And regardless of that the recordings cannot pass hands to the school to be used as a scouting tool.

They didn't come up with some clever loophole and the means they went to disguise this speaks to them knowing it is well outside of what is allowed.

So if OSU changed their signs and michigan had no idea what any of them were, why was the sign stealer constantly chirping in the ear of michigan's offensive and defensive coordinators the entire time? I mean, seems like he would've had no reason to even be on the sidelines if that were actually the case. It's almost as if there's more to it.
