More Michigan Cheating

At this point I just want this to be over.

This won't be over for a long time even after the B1G lays whatever they are going to do now. The NCAA is still investigating, that article is very poor framing by Wetzel. The investigation is not over they just don't have enough evidence "yet"

There would be freaking out already leaking from the other schools if it were really some "damning info". Ohio State insiders from what I see are laughing and saying it's a joke.

and if started with Zach Smith that's hilarious

To his credit he's still an OSU guy and not a whiny bitch like Mo C.

I hope it's eating the Michigan locker room up like a spreading cancer
Yeah -- it really affected them in the last two games. it was 91-6 while the starters were on the field. If anything -- this is bringing the team closer than ever. They are using it as fuel, and playing into the "villain role". I think it is why Ric Flair came to speak to the team today.

I know you aren't knocking Ric Flair. The man is a legend. Hell -- my son's 10u travel team breaks their huddle with 'two claps and a Ric Flair'.

You keep harping on the cheater comment. Let me ask you this. Do you think Georgia never paid a player to attend Georgia? Or gave impermissible benefits? Never had cash hand shakes after games?

Or are you under the assumption Georgia is the one school in all of CFB who isn't a 'cheater'? Or does the cheater label go away?
First, that is a "whataboutism" at its finest ... what UGA did or didn't do, or what tOSU did or didn't do doesn't affect what your team did do.

In answer to your question, to the best of my knowledge:

- UGA paid players prior to NIL - like all schools did.
- In the 1980s UGA fired a professor Jan Kemp for not giving preference to a football player - we got in a lot of trouble.
- In the 2000s we had a basketball coach who gave a test where he asked, "how many points is a 3 point shot worth?" among other easy classes to keep players eligible - we were heavily penalized.

Either what we did was done by every other school so who cares, or we were caught and paid a heavy price.

You cheated doing something that gave you a huge competitive advantage that it's been reported no other team has done. In addition to being laughed at mercilessly for how bad you are at cheating, you should and will pay a heavy price for your transgression.

Anyone who thinks their team isn't doing some form of this is kidding themselves. Teams trade video of games, teams have access to All-22 films, you can find signs being used online. This is only a big deal because of how Stalions went about it.

If it comes out a PI was hired -- you know damn well, UM is going to do the exact same thing and go thru every school with a fine toothed comb and it will end up a complete shit show.
I am confident that my team is not doing what UM did. Here we go with the conflating of the legal sign stealing and the illegal. You two are a joke at this point ... you are recycling your excuses. FFS, get original, will you? After 135 pages of your repetition, it's getting kind of old.

- No, everyone doesn't do what you cheaters did.
- If it's no big deal and you have All-22 film, then why did you setup this large spying operation?
- No fucking duh it's about how he went about it - he did it illegally ... that's the problem.

These Michigan insiders keep claiming Michigan has "binders of dirt" on the rest of the B1G. But if they really did why would they keep holding at and letting Michigan continue to get drug through a bunch of negative publicity? They coulda easily ended this and completely diverted attention by now if they really had anything shattering about anyone else. If they do have anything else to "dump" it's likely a bunch of meh like that AP article from today. Which clearly had no affect on the B1G. They seem to be amping up more than backing off now.

That was alot of typing to say you cheer for a cheater program.

Now THAT is priceless. Spoken like a true cheater. To steal your line -- I'm quite confident my school wasn't paying recruits. My 'inside sources' have confirmed this to me.

You know how the NCAA changed the scouting rules because schools couldn't afford to send scouts to future opponents. ALL THOSE SCHOOLS also couldn't pay for players.

Now pipe down cheater.

Wait -- are you trying to say every team who has done this hasn't come out and turned themselves in? I'M SHOCKED. :pound:

I mean Purdue and Sparty are 2 of the worst teams in the conference. Nobody is saying Michigan wouldn't still be at least a good team without their alleged cheating.
Ohio State will get to find out soon enough. :)

That game will be highly entertaining.
