Except the way Michigan was doing it.
You realistically can't expect teams to change their signs every week. The coaches only get like 20 hours a week with the players. That's practice, film room, team meetings, etc.
Teams do change their signs every week, they change who signals the real signs every week and even change who the real signer is each quarter.
Was what Stallions did wrong? Yes. Did it change the outcome of games? Of course not. Michigan was really good those years because they had top tier NFL talent at every level, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
Aiden Hutchinson -- 1st round pick #2
Daxton Hill -- 1st round pick #31
Mazi Smith -- 1st round pick #26
Mason Graham -- 1st round pick #5
Kenneth Grant -- 1st round pick #13
Will Johnson -- 2nd round pick #47
Kris Jenkins -- 2nd round pick #49
Mike Sainristril -- 2nd round pick #50
DJ Turner -- 2nd round pick #60
David Ojabo -- 2nd round pick #45
Junior Colson -- 3rd round pick #69
Josiah Stewart -- 3rd round pick #90
This is why they were that good. The sign stuff is a great excuse for Ohio fans to grasp onto, but reality is -- UM was just as a dominant defensively and many times more dominant when Stallions was long gone. Hell -- Michigan held them to 10 points this year.
Just so the offense isn't left out -- the offense had 14 guys drafted during this time too.
Let's find something else to talk about now. 330 pages is a little much. Best of luck to every team this year and I am hoping Michigan has some semblance of a QB this year.
