I think they drafted him in 2016 and made his debut in 2021. Was pretty decent about a 500 record with a tad over 3 era but this year has taken off.
 
Cubs have gone from 43-50 to 76-64. 34-17 since the ASB, only two teams have a better winning percentage since the Break (O's and Dodgers)
 
Wainwright's chase for #200 reminds me very much of Tim Wakefield's. Dude's just getting shelled and it feels like he'll never get there. It was such a relief when Wakefield finally got to it (and even then, he still gave up 5 in 6 IP)

I remember that. Wakefield ended up just losing the knuckleball and tossing BP.
