Never any guarantees with prospects, but I'm really excited. Throws 100+ VERY often and throws a wipeout slider. He's completely mowed down batters in college and in AAA just a year later (45 K's in just 27.1 innings, 0.99 ERA to boot). Doesn't seem to be much of a point in him continuing to face minor league hitters.
 
They really need to stop calling this a "lat strain". The subscapularis is a muscle that is part of the rotator cuff. That is not a lat injury, that is a shoulder injury. I'm guessing that the media are just repeating what the Cubs are saying but you'd think that someone in the newsroom would point this out, you certainly don't have to be a doctor to know this shit.
