Sources: Rockies' Márquez gets $20M extension

Not sure why they didn't just take the buyout. At the very least, he's going to miss a good portion of 2024 (he had TJS back in May)... and he could end up earning $30M in 2025 with incentives?

Today is the day at least one of the Padres/Giants is eliminated from playoff contention. With a win by the Chi-Cubs, they both are.
