Series Thread NLDS Giants vs Dodgers

Atlanta-Fulton County, Turner Field and Truist Park are the only stadiums I’ve attended a game at. I’ve seen Busch and Kaufman from the interstate.

From my high definition, San Fran has the best looking park in baseball
Of the ones I've actually been to:

Coors Field: (Rockies) nice stadium, lots of nightlife etc around, built in the old warehouse area
Turner Field (Braves): Not bad stadium wise, but shitty area
Fulton County (Braves): old cookie cutter stadium, not very good
Old Busch Stadium (Cardinals): see Fulton County
Wrigley Field (Cubs): sorry, it's shithole
Guaranteed Rate (US Cellular at the time) (White Sox): Not bad but upper deck to WAY too steep
Tropicana Field (Rays): yeah, it sucks, is a pain to get to, and in a shitty area
Nats Stadium (Nationals): pretty good, old worn down area that's being revitalized/rebuilt.
Camden Yards (Orioles): Nice stadium, shitty area and city
Dodger Stadium (Dodgers): I was a little kid in the early 80s so don't remember much, was a good day out though

One's I've seen but not been in or to a game:

Petco (Padres): looks nice and seems a good area for before and after games
Oracle (Giants): looks great from the outside at least, don't care for the city though
Kaufmann (Royals): seems nice enough
Truist (Braves): looks nice, would like to catch a game there
Shea (Mets): see Fulton County and old Busch, with a chunk cut out
Old Yankee Stadium (Yankees): Looked cool, mostly because of history I guess
Fenway (Red Sox): great old stadium but no parking etc
Citizens Bank (Phillies): stadium is nice enough but all the sports stadiums are next to each other, I don't like that, plus, it's Philly
PNC (Pirates) great looking stadium and awesome views
Comerica (Tigers): nice stadium, downtown is being revitalized, close to the casinos and Ford Field

If you ever get a chance to see a game at Miller Park, that's right, I said Miller Park, go.

You will not be disappointed.

I've heard it's a great gameday atmosphere.

I love how the South Broad area is all the sport stadiums. and its Philly I LOVE Philly the city too.

Tropicana is a great stadium and one of my favorites went a bunch in 2000-2001. nothing wrong with an hour and half drive from Tampa

I don't mind downtown Chicago. so getting lost and trying to figure out the public transportation back to hoffman estates was a blast

Fenway... did the stadium tour i would hate to find parking for an actual game there...holee shit

It's nice but the fans ruin it. While I think Cards fans are easily the most arrogant in baseball, they're not violent like Giants fans.
Have you met the Padre fan? That guy is a jack ass…

Back to the NLDS. Thursday's game, Urias (20-3, 2.96) vs Webb(11-3, 3.03) will be the biggest game of the year. My prediction is LA will take it.

Splits favor Urias (RT) vs RT/LT - .210/.222; Webb (LT) vs RT/LT - .210/.260

No way LA wins. Zero chance. I'm definitely predicting that the Giants win. Easily. Not even close. I'm certain of it.

Giants aren't hitting in the post. Stats were even in regular season. I think they'll blow it at home.

Post
LA .240/.299 - SF 3.86 ERA
SF .184/.220 - LA 2.05 ERA

Reg
LA .244/.330
SF .249/.329

Giants fans left one alive?
He has been in hiding this season. We can’t find him in order to take him out.

But we know people. We will find him. If you know him, you may want to warn him.

Going with the opener. Did Julio Urias get arrested for woman beating again?

My guess is Knebel will start the 1st inning to maybe throw the Giants off. Start a righty, make them adjust early, then lefty Urias comes on in the 2nd or 3rd for a long stretch.

I’m sticking with the domestic violence repeat offender theory
