Oriental drivers

Knew a half Vietnamese girl names Charlie. I thought it was just a cool name for awhile until she told me her dad was a Vietnam vet and married her Vietnamese mom after getting back to the states.

So this vet marries a Vietnamese woman and he names their daughter Charlie.

this thread is funny AF to me.
Couple decades ago I was in a bar. Was talking of Orientals. I seriously thought that was the better word to describer them at the time.
My Bartender who was Asian. Said what did you say?
I repeated myself. She said We are not oriental. We are Asian. Confused I was like Oh really? Why is that. You know instead of being mad at me. Enlighten me.
She said because we are not a fucking rug! (which made me laugh) I know I wasnt helping myself here. Calling us Oriental is like calling a black person the N word. Where I looked at her. Being from poor ass Neighborhoods which I shared with Black people. I said I seriously doubt that! I never seen anyone get in a fight for saying Oriental. Didnt even know it was the wrong thing to say until now. Long story short. The proper saying is Asian not Orientals.

Now for what makes all this funny. On the "other" site there is a big too do about racism & what is allowed & not allowed to be said right now.
On this site our founding member is creating them LOL

Now back to your regularly scheduled program of bad Asian driving!

The funny thing is that Indians, Russians, and some of the middle-east are technically Asian too… but Asians don’t accept them as being Asian.

yeah. My thought back in the day was Asia covers a lot of area. I actually thought Oriental was the more proper way to call them LOL

Was watching an asian guy do standup saying asians won't go to the doctors so he's talking about trying to get his mom to go to the doctors when she wasn't feeling well.

Mom says I no go doctor cause doctors only want your money.

Why do you send me to college to be a doctor then.

So you be smart and take everyone's money.
