PAC News

Bishop Gorman is one of those schools where a lot of the kids aren't even from the area, they just go there to play football. Top players from that school will continue to end up at USC/Bama/Ohio State/etc. Not UNLV.
Sure. God for bid they become a viable option to your precious Ohio State recruit.

No they do not. You are completely delusional if you think UNLV jumping into a completely weakened Pac 12 makes them a "prime destination" for recruits on the level of Bama/UGA/Ohio State/Etc.
Well even I'm not saying this. I think they would make tremendous strides in a conference like the PAC though. Tremendous strides for them isnt saying much.

You act like every fucking college campus doesn't have it's share of hot chicks and that other area's don't have their own party spots.

I mean, yea, they would probably get a little boost, but they'd still most likely be in the bottom half of FBS in the recruiting rankings. They aren't going to suddenly launch into the top 25 or better like OD is suggesting.

Vegas is a destination spot for vacationers. Not high level HS football players who want to get to the NFL some day. No matter how hard you try to mental gymnastics that into being true.
Ever heard of Gorman High School? you should have

OD is acting like the Rutgers people who were swearing that Rutgers was finally going to become a consistent player once they got that Big 10 exposure and money.

if UNLV was so desirable the Pac 12 woulda scooped them up years ago, not wait until the last resort option to try to squeeze a few more years of life out of the conference.
Years ago they didnt have the facilities they do now

Some of the kids come from outside of the valley, but you would be surprised at how many kids are from Vegas and surrounding areas. There is almost 3 million people here.

Arizona State is a prime example of a school that has loads of smoking hot chicks and loads of raging parties. They struggle to compete consistently in the Pac 12 still.

I mean of course Columbus Ohio is NOT Vegas, but OD has clearly never been there. Or any of these other college towns he swears "all they can do is party at motel 6!"
We have local hotels that have pools and parties that you wouldnt believe. This one is 20 miles from the strip.

I went to Vegas so many times in my 20s I got burnt out on it lol. Like there was a time where we'd go twice a month for 4-5 days each time.

I imagine living there would get old pretty fast the older you get. At least the party aspect of it.
