PAC News

bro i invested in a nice TV a year and a half ago.. trust me, i'm watching whatever sporting events that come in 4k.. man if appleTV offered 8k streams.. I'll be the #1 PAC fan on this board lol
That’s nice, but just having the tv isnt the only thing. Streaming doesn’t mean everyone has the app/site, plus some may forget it’s on and others will be dissuaded because there are games on cable channels that are easier to switch back and forth from during the same time.

No doubt the PAC will probably go to apple and these teams will get paid more then the B12 teams are. But it’s going to come at the cost of visability for the programs, especially considering it’s the tier 1games apple is getting. I would truly like to see if it Was a bluff when mentioned that the PAC presidents want 50% on linear. Because it appears they aren’t getting that at a premium price.

Hey man i'm selfish and closed minded.. Pac gives me some 4k or 8k streams on apple, I'm in.. I already have the app on my TV.

But seriously, it's why i don't really care about the Big12 after this last season.. I usually watch conference games that UT is part of and the bigger games nationally. There aren't big games nationally in the PAC for the most part.. It's either in September in OOC games or very late in the season if a team has a shot at the CFP.

Otherwise i pretty much watch the big noon game, sec 3:30 game and the best game in the evening.. which for the most part is the ESPN telecast of a SEC or BiG game..for now

Your Saturdays are about to be vastly different as you will be required to start with the 11:00am SEC kickoff and end after the 8:00pm kickoff. It is advisable to get multiple TVs as well so that you can cheer on all SEC teams at every game.

Welcome to the club bro!

Sooo as I stated you aren’t watching that shit.

Hey man my team has been on streaming some. Let me tell ya it sucks when it’s buffering and don’t try and simulcast on espn or something as you’ll learn the play before you see it on streaming. Plus we’ve had some obscure times (1:30pm Anyone???) I honestly don’t wish streaming on anyone but if thats How they are getting paid then so be it. It’s more then obvious that none of the pac presidents want to go to the B12.

lol you don't have to root for anyone to enjoy/watch games.. you think i have a rooting interest when i watch KSU play TCU? I'm watching to see how well they are doing and to see how they may match up with my team that season

yeah i hate streaming for two things..can't switch back and forth as quickly, smoothly as you can on cable.. and the other pet peeve is that i usually watch games with a group of friends in a GC.. we mock the guys who are 2 plays around.. and I've been on the other end of it and it sucks

so did you skip this part?

I gave up trying to see how a team might match up because just when it appears one way something else happens.

if you cant switch back and forth fast you arent doing it right.

while my house was being built... i was in a furnished apt and had to settle for streaming TV.. i got Youtube TV.. i absolutely hated..HATED it.. never again

I have xfinity and even though it's nothing compared to what I had in VA (Verizon Fios) it's still miles better than youtubetv

i stream most of my stuff, Hulu, prime, paramount, peacock through the Xbox. its a different input than the cable. so switching is a matter of changing input feed. really one button switch.
