Damnit!!!!! Same frickin bullshit. D did their job, could have been better on the QB run and some shit tackling when we needed big plays but enough to win.

O was good in 1q, but Sat has this tendency to just make some really stupid calls. Seemed to abandon the run when he needed to lean into with the 2td lead. Instead throwing the ball just because purdy hit a couple of throws. Just bullshit. He kept trying to dip in the same play well too, instead of some different stuff. I just don't get why we don't have more designed plays to Fidone, big target with good hands, never any easy throws to him.

Game management gets a big ole F. Only 1 shot at the end zone at end of game was horrible. Had plenty of time and timeouts but instead played for OT. Not sure why you'd want to do that with this team.

Refs, I don't blame them but some bullshit there in OT, easy tripping call on 2nd down, looked like an easy hold call that let their QB get that run on 3rd.
 
While there were many things that could have been done differently, I place more blame on the defenses execution. So many times they were in position to make a play and failed. How many missed sack opportunities were there? It does no good to be in the right place of you can't finish. Break down, get control of yourself, finish the play.
It looked, too me, like the fellas were wanting to lay the wood at full speed. Great idea of you can execute it. They didn't, and usually whiffed.

And Teddy... Wtf.
 
I don't generally have a lot of negative thoughts regarding 2023 Nebraska because they've already exceeded my expectations with a new staff, systems, and young players.

However, I question the horrible clock management at the end of the 1st half, and then at the end of the game. I was at the local dive bar watching it and literally everybody in there was yelling "CALL TIME OUT".

I don't have full game video, but I can start the URL at current time towards the end of the 1st half.
Nebraska has the ball with all 3 time outs with 1:19 to play. The next thing you know is Nebraska still has all 3 time outs with :52 to play. That's :27 they let burn. Next thing you know is they have 2 timeouts left with :26.
Then (with the 2 timeouts) they let the clock burn from :20 down to :14 then used their 2nd timeout.

They had 1st and 10 at the Wisconsin 25 yd line with just :08 instead of there being over :30.

Effective clock management just seems like a no brainer to me considering the amount of $$ these coaches are being paid.

 
Here (at the end of the game) Nebraska has 1st and 10, all 3 timeouts remaining, at Wisconsin's 25 yd line, and 1:35 to play.
Next thing you know it's 3rd down, the clock's at :20 and Nebraska still has 2 timeouts.

I agree 100%, thought Rhule was more on top of things, kind of concerning IMO
