Hopefully my sister in laws account is still logged in at my house, otherwise one of you fools is hosting.

Ah crap, Dez up-talked Nebraska. We screwed now…..

Definitely a lot to work on. I was thinking I'd be happy at 6-1 through first 7.

D - hard to complain about 3 points but just too many "leaky" yards as I heard on the broadcast. Guys not wrapping up or trying to strip ball so they were able to get a few more. QB run game really hurt, usually sign of poor discipline right? I haven't watched our future opponents so not sure if that will come back to bite us.

Just a question for the future. It doesn't seem like we have DL strength outside of Ty and Nash, do we have anyone in the works there? Seemed like a lot of their running yards were coming with backup DL in there.

O - was ok. I mean scored 3 TDs on 4 possessions in first half. I felt like he should have let Alvano try the FG on the 4th drive/end of first half, would have been a confidence booster if he made it. Same second half struggles, sloppy play. OL seemed to struggle run blocking. Was sad they couldn't punch it in in the red zone and having to take short FGs twice.

ST - other than the roughing the kicker penalty, I don't remember any huge mistakes or problems.

Just sayin' you'd have to believe the Nebraska players didn't take the UNI game seriously or the coaching staff has been holding back for some reason.

Northern Iowa is a 6-5/6-6 FCS team the last few years. South Dakota St walloped them 41-6 last season.

UTEP is (0-3). Nebraska scored 7 pts on them in the 3rd Q and 3 pts on them in the 4th.
Nebraska got shutout in the 2nd half against Colorado. However, the Puffs scored 10 pts.
Northern Iowa held Nebraska to 6 pts in the 3rd Q, and Nebraska got a garbage TD with 4 minutes to play in the 4th Q. Northern Iowa had 18 first downs to Nebraska's 22.

Seems like an endurance issue (whether that be physical, mental, or both) and that's been plaguing Nebraska for years now. Thus losing close games late. i.e. All of the one score losses.

Second half play calling has been pretty bad. While I appreciate Haarburg getting some plays, I think the timing of putting him in the game was terrible. That drive should have ended in a TD.
It was only a matter of time before Raiola the a pick. He probably should have had a couple more. I suppose I'll look at it as a coaching opportunity.
Lots of good to appreciate. I'm looking forward to the youngsters growing up in the system. On both sides.

Where did you get that?

I'm not finding it anywhere on the Huskers schedule or even on Peacocks web page.

Here I went and spread that unverified rumor throughout my community.

"Note: The original announcement that included the Nebraska-Purdue game has since removed that game from the page. Thanks to Josh Peterson, screenshots are forever."

That explains why 'Exclusive' Peacock is not showing up on the Huskers web-page, or on the Peacock page itself.
