I’m thinking about taking the entire thanksgiving week off. That sounds pretty good right about now!

Already been done.

All morning, I send emails. I get some responses, but others ignore me.

At noon, I send official emails, copying their managers, supervisors, and directors. That usually gets the slackers in motion, but there might still be a couple of holdouts.

4PM is when the execs get notified...but that's too late. People have already checked out for the day by then, so stuff will either wait til tomorrow or next week. I've asked to have that last deadline bumped up, but that's the policy.

My favorites are the people who email back and say "I'm doing it right now!" and then an hour later they still haven't done it.
