It is an autobud. Probably 1st harvest near end of July. Will continue to flower thru September if I'm lucky

Like an earlier posters said....

White hairs means its still maturing

Red hairs means it mature.

That's mother nature's way of tell you when it's done.

Sure you can cut buds off when it has white hairs but if you just wait until the plant loses all it's sun leafs and looks like it's dead and no white hairs you'll have a better harvest and a better product.

Be patient my friend.
 
Here's an idea....

If you have it in a pot and can move it around you might bring indoors and put into the dark to speed up the budding process.
 
When I grew from seed under lights I would reduce the light from 16 hours to 10 hours after about 8 weeks.

But I would only do this for about a week.

This would trigger the males to start maturing but not trigger the females into maturing and budding.

This way I could weed out the males so they wouldn't pollinate the females and keep the buds from having seeds.

With mother nature it takes the change of day light to trigger the males to pollinate the females. So the males had to mature fast than the females.

We peak today at 15.5 hours of light. I may not get optimal yield but she is exploding right now. I have plenty of time. Maturity was circa 80 days and when grown outside up to 5 months of production. I need to thin some non-flowering leaves to get some light in.

Those sun leaves will start to change color and you can gently pull them off as they die. You'll see as you go. If you don't do anything those leaves will fall off on their own.

The main thing you'll have to combat is mold but that shouldn't be a problem until you get closer to fall.
 
Did some more research on this variety. Supposedly, the pistils turn orange not purple.

You should be looking at the fucking TRICHOMES, under a 30x lens, and looking for when them tiny mushrooms are ALL milky with speckles of ember.

According to one site I read, you can clone this variety. I might give it a shot. Lack of a decent inside growing area is a problem.

I bought an 1/8th from a store for $10 last Monday.

I’m growing to make butter. Which also prolly isn’t even worth it.
