I've not heard of that strain. Can't say I've heard of any strain named after a guy. But...You have it looking healthy now.

I started shaping my two auto flowers. I’ll take a picture later, but I tied one string around the stock to keep it vertical. Then I taped the other end of the string to the side of the pot itself. Then I tied another string up higher and pulled the top over. Taping that string to the pot as well. I’m going to continue shaping the plant in that fashion And try and make it circular with vertical up shoots
 
More branches tied down.

We have a stretch now for about three weeks of 27°C weather. It’s gonna be beautiful. And they really seem to like being in my little greenhouse. I put some arugula and basil and parsley in there for the Mrs. while she was off in Italy. And they’ve taken right off as well.

What is going to be the end result that you are hoping for?
 
Because it’s auto flower I understand you’re supposed to try and have as many vertical growing points as possible. So, by tying it down, I expose all the lower branches nodes to grow up. And it seems to be working because I’ve already had four branches, which I can also spread out. It really is a work in progress because I have not done one of these ones before.

If you look up auto flower, you can see what they look like. Some look like one big bud. Others look like bonsai. Regardless they are fun to play with.

I will likely end up baking with mine. I’ll save some for smoldering, but by and large I don’t smoulder much anymore that is pot. I can buy hash at the store. It’s easier on the airbags.

I’m not seeing any budding yet. I think I’m going to start restricting light a bit. Just to get them started. The days are still getting longer for another month.
And I think I’m going to start one more seed. That’ll leave me two for next year.
 
And they have started. Hard to tell in this photo, but there are definitely white hairs at all bud points.

So it's hard to tell but this plant is not trying to grow to the sun and have long stems. It's compact and lots of vegetation that will make this plant into one big bud.
 
My 2 volunteer Photoperiods that sprouted in March look to be in the pre flower stages.
I have been pulling them over for some time, or they would be over 6 feet tall now.

Completed my defoliation today and pulled every tall branch down with bungee cords while the branches are still plyable, so they will be spread for the sun and air, and also not seen from the street.

I have 2 Photoperiods I put in 10 gallon grow bags that are doing well.
Had a hard time getting them up, so they are behind. Still, about 4 feet tall not counting the bag. They don't show much sign of preflower, so that's probably good. Have 2 more Photoperiods in grow bags that are only 1 foot tall, so not holding out much hope for those.

Finally got 3 Autoflowers to germinate and sprout, about 4 inches tall now.
 
Finally getting some hot 90+ degree sunny days are helping a lot.
 
I parked my mini greenhouse. Getting too warm for it. Also, the two plants were starting to brush the roof.
 
NY allows you to grow up to 12 plants a year and up to 5 pounds. I should be ok.

This might be a problem,,,,,letting Municipalities fuck with the law.
