If if was a broken leg or something, they would have. Seeing your teammate literally die on the field and have to be resuscitated is a pretty extreme emotional shock. No way many players on each team would have been able to go on. Best to stop play completely and tentatively reschedule if needed for seeding. Best look for the league's brand in general too.

I guess. When NASCAR drivers have died in a race, the race still went on. I understand it, but if I were to die on a football field, I’d want my teammates to go finish the game in my honor.

I think that's a little different because deaths in racing are masked a bit. Most times, all anyone sees or knows is that a car wreck happened and news of serious injury or death only comes out later on. This situation, where everyone sees whats going on, sees CPR being administered and the person being rushed off under care just feels a lot more up front and personal. Definitely more triggering for a teammate witnessing it.

I have Higgins and Chase on my Fantasy Team, and I am 11 points behind. The only thing I care about is if Damar Hamlin is functioning at the same cognitive level. I don’t know why I care … feels like a family member and I am not a Bills fan.

It was used by Hamlin for some time with his charity work and there is a new message up from his family on it today.
Gofundme is pretty good at catching fraud and funds that suddenly skyrocket like this one are ripe for scrutiny. No chance that money gets paid out without proof of who it is going to.

BTW, that fund is now over. 4.6 million.

Not really.......The league I run will wait to see if its played,if not,they split 1st and 2nd place winnings.....

On a side note,the have to pkay that game......The regular Dunday games sre gonba be played so the Bills and Bengals are gonna have to be ready to shiw up.....
And does anyone realuze if the Bengals beat Buffalo,they both are tied at 12-4........That flips the playoff schedule....
If the Bills win,theyd been tied with KC gor a possible bye week.....

I sent 3 coworkets home early on a rain day 10 yrs ago,they got into a car acvident killing 2 of them,the owner closed the shop for a week.....then we all went back to work.........and yes,I was the last one to talk to all 3.....i was very distraught for a long long time.......you just gotta get over it and move on.......

The world doesn't stop turnin' over one man. Yes, it's tragic and it was horrible to see but everyone has to move forward.
