What was your favorite car you owned?

those grand nationals where the only respectable American cars of the 80s ... as I remember it

My favorite cars have been convertibles or full sized Jimmy's. My 74 GMC Jimmy had a one piece fiberglass top that I stashed in the garage and replaced with a Kayline Products canvas top/folding frame assembly. As a ragtop it looked very similar to this one;

The biggest difference being that mine had the original baby blue paint top and bottom. Mine looked great from far but ..................

I also had a black 84 K-5 Jimmy that was in great shape inside and out. I re-powered it with a fresh 350 that had 300hp and gobs of low end balls and a great note. Too bad it wasn't a full convertible, I would have never sold it.

Speaking of baby blue ...

I was 19 years old with a summer job at cape cod ...

351 Windsor, C3 auto, Detroit 9-inch rear (as I remember)
Sounded like a turbine ...

2013 Ford F 150
Paid in full this past Thursday
Jumped the Snake River in it too so obviously my Thursday was pretty sweet.

My first car. 59 Chevy Impala convertible. 348 4bbl, 3 on the tree. Traded for a tripower setup
Stupid fast. Lucky it got stolen before I killed myself

'97 Town Car Huge, fast, reasonably economical....had leather seats for miles. I was still in my 20s when I had it and literally fucked on every inch of that interior. Road trip machine....took it all over the place and found poon everywhere.

This may be my new fave car if things go well on Friday, trade in my S55. 580 screaming horseys.....

A 2012 with only 64K kms.

1988 Mustang
2013 Mustang

1970 Dodge Challenger 340 with a 4 speed. Fun car for a 17 year old
1971 mustang mach 1 351 Cleveland with a 4 speed.
To many to list but those were the most fun to drive.

My first car was an 89 that looked very similar to this:

My older brothers had a 65 and 66 mustang as their first cars. Middle brother totaled his 65 and I helped add some cash to put a new front clip on it, so I got to drive it whenever I wanted. Not a show ready car by any means, but it was nice to take to some cruise-ins from time to time.

1995 f150 extended cab. Me and that truck made many fishing trips together. I loved that thing.
But, I'm really starting to love my current truck, a 2004 f250 Super Duty with the 6.0 Powerstroke diesel. It's high maintenance, and I just had to put $5k into the motor, but it's a big fucking tank with an 8 foot bed, that hauls ass.

Those stock 6.0 Powerstrokes were garbage, but it sounds like you bulletproofed it. Get em bulletproofed and they're as good as any Powerstroke other than the 7.3.
