Ticos will get one shot versus Germany and that should enough to win. What is the tie breaker in World Cup Group Stage? Goal differential or head to head. If head to head Germany is done unless they beat Spain and Japan loses to Costa Rica. Not likely.

They showed a stat late in the game. I didn't catch the exact numbers but it was somewhere in the vicinity of 940 out of 1000 passes attempted to completed for them compared to 120 out of 200 for CR.

I was just wondering what the deeper tiebreakers would be. Say US and Wales both lose to England by the exact same score and then win the other game by the exact same score. Then what?

At some point, they get to fewest yellow cards as a tiebreaker. Might eventually get to a coin flip.
