2022 Season Thread

But the more likely scenario at Daytona is Blaney is leading, Logano tries to help him, but ends up wrecking him along with half the field instead because that’s what Penske drivers do at plate tracks
Last lap, Hamlin and Ty Gibbs pushing Bubba to the win and the playoffs!!

They all spin and wreck!! Harvick wins!! Or Almirola wins!! Or Custer wins!! Or Briscoe wins!! Or anybody else but Gibbs or Jordan wins!!

I would laugh so fucking hard.

The interviews would be epic.

There was a truck series championship several years ago when they still ran the season long format where a driver’s teammate passed him(not for the lead) and wouldn’t give it back, and that cost the driver that got passed the championship in the last race of th le season
Owner probably real pleased.

Almirola is not retiring and returning to the 10. Team has also said Custer will remain in the 41.

So, count SHR out of the Kyle Busch sweepstakes.

I think that pretty much puts Kyle at JGR or Kaulig. I don't see RCR as a legit threat to sign him, and I don't see him going to 23XI because him and Denny really don't see to get along.

Zippy did leave himself an out with Custer, there was no definite in his statement.

Richard got in an actual fight with Kyle like 10 years ago. I doubt Kyle would go there, and it would require RCR starting a third team for next year.

He won’t let Denny be his boss.

I still think he returns to Gibbs, but Kaulig is gonna be good soon, and they have the money

Was he not wearing his restraints for a qualifying run or something? His car backed into the wall and hit nothing else. I never saw an impact like that hurt a driver before the COT and SAFER barriers.

Even with all the restraints and the advancements, the brain can still move around inside the skull during impact. Just as it is with football or any sport where there's risk of concussions, there's only so much you can do. It's just an unfortunate circumstance with a variety of contributing factors, two of which are likely hitting at just the right angle and speed and also cumulative effects over time from previous concussions Kurt has had.

Just run this shit tomorrow. Rain racing is trash. That includes F1. There's no racing to it.

Watching them try to push water up hill is fun.

Some damn good racing going on so far.

Reddick got spun around. Think his chances of winning are off line now. Hope he can recover for a good finish though. I am liking this kid.

I’m pulling for two new winners so multiple guys outside the top 20 in points have a chance for a Mickey Mouse title while two guys in the top 5 in points won’t to make an even bigger mockery of this stupid “championship” format

the 34 might get you your wish

McDowell today. Stenhouse next week. Make it happen

Chastain takes out Kimi. His experiment is over :(

Number one rule for everyone today was to not wreck Kimi Raikkonen. They failed.

Shit like that is gonna keep more big name drivers from other series from making select NASCAR starts.
