Yeah….you fucking goons. Lol

I thought that was pretty good episode one. The birth scene was difficult to watch. Definitely has a bit of a different feel to it than GoT as it's only Targarian focused.

It was good. It got better as it went along.
Seemed fanciful and full of bad , stiff acting at the beginning.

Wow, so fucking good, especially if you know from the book the conflicts that it's setting up! The greatness of the early seasons of Game of Thrones is back!

Eh, it was ok I guess.

Good first episode. Slow cast introduction to build character, ruthless action scenes, great looking sets and costumes, and even some betrayal.

They are clearly casting the antagonist, but things are not always what they seem in Westeros.

I thought it was very good. They are covering a lot of great material this season, none of it would make much sense to folks who haven't read the books unless they have an introductory episode like last night.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hate to have to wait a week to see the next one.

Looking at the cast list on IMDB, it looks like there will either be a time jump or they will tell the story at two different time periods.

I am not a huge fan of that strategy, but I guess it worked for This is Us, so I guess it could work here.

Yeah, the producers announced in interviews that the season is split into two, with the time jump coming in the middle of the season. The time jump is definitely necessary since
one of the two main claimants in this civil war hasn't been born yet.

can't say i cared about any of the characters after the first episode. we'll see if that continues. plus I find Matt Smith annoying, looks like Vigo the Carpathian mid transformation.

That was pretty good. I’m cautious. Forcing myself into to go in with lower expectations. Maybe that’s just a good coping strategy since I was let down so much before.

At any rate….I found this enjoyable. I didn’t mind the slowness at the start, and yeah, the birth scene was horrendous.

Anyone else notice as they led up to that ghastly birth scene the scenes of the jousting just quickly got ultra graphic? It was like they were warming you up for the birth scene.

You said no one is going to watch it.
That’s not what I said. You literally quoted me in the post I referenced:
“It’ll be gone quick. Save this post.”

You can’t be this dumb.
